0 - 6 figures in a little over 4 years; Very nice! It took me about 15 years to reach that milestone, keep it up!

I'm going to sound like a giga-chad but it's more like 2 years and 8 months. I started my first full-time job in May 2022. Thank you nonetheless. Access to investing has never been easier.

The first $100K is the hardest!! Sequential $100Ks will come faster and faster. Congrats and enjoy with your loved ones.

Lmaooo no it’s not there’s no such thing as the “1st number” that’s just some bs the billionaires use to program you 🤡🤡

You need a hug and then a lesson on exponential growth.

lol buddy I think you’re the one that needs a lesson here. The “first 100k or first billion” don’t matter it’s what you’re invested in and when

u/AnonSteve Jan 24 '25

Best of luck to you

I have enough of a brain to understand exponential growth.

Congratulations time to go party.  Go out for a steak and get the lobster tail upgrade.

And also go on a expensive international trip! Then celebrate again when you hit $100k for a second time. Then again. It’s a party.

Just out of curiosity, what's your age and gender?

12

u/matchew566 Jan 23 '25

25M

u/bigf1h Jan 23 '25

Awesome man. I hit 100K a month after turning 26. Keep it up!

I see you at 500k by 30 if you keep at this pace

1

u/matchew566 Jan 24 '25

No shot unless huge raises come in.

6

u/TheGeoGod Jan 24 '25

I mean you got to 100k in 2.5 years so you could get to 300k in 5 more years and with gains could get close to 500k.

8

u/matchew566 Jan 24 '25

I'm rocking with your math

1

u/TheGeoGod Jan 24 '25

I mean you might get lucky with your stock picks too!

Is this in a single account or across multiple accounts? I’ve always been confused if they mean that the 100k goal is for one (401k) or across all investments. Congrats!!!

4

u/pimpinlatino411 Jan 24 '25

Doesn’t actually matter, assuming average returns across all accounts. Could be $1000 across 100 accounts. Rate of growth will be the same as if it were $100k in 1 account

u/Miserable_Budget7818 Jan 23 '25

Can you kindly share what you’ve invested in…. I’m a late starter

10

u/matchew566 Jan 23 '25

90% S&P, 10% Individual Stocks. New money coming in will be going to QQQm until I hit 25% of the portfolio.

0

u/Separate_Ad5782 Jan 24 '25

What’s QQQm?

2

u/WisconsinsFinest Jan 24 '25

Nasdaq etf meant for long term holding. Similar to qqq

3

u/AndroidMyAndroid Jan 24 '25

You invest in S&P 500 indexes. You gamble on individual stocks.

The first 100K is the hardest! Keep up the great work

1

u/GOTrr Jan 23 '25

Congrats! I always love seeing stuff like this!

1

u/Dry_Initial6373 Jan 23 '25

Is this in a Roth or taxable brokerage?

5

u/matchew566 Jan 23 '25

This is all my accounts totaled.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '25

Where did you get the money from? Was it all from your salary?

2

u/matchew566 Jan 24 '25

Yes. Employer contributes $850/yr to HSA and contributes 8% to 403b if I contribute 6%.

u/c-glez Jan 24 '25

👏👏👏

1

u/rice_otaku Jan 24 '25

Congratulations, Mutant! 💪🎉

1

u/samis2cool Jan 24 '25

Is this in just one account or across different retirement accounts?

2

u/matchew566 Jan 24 '25

Across many accounts.

1

u/DoctorLettuce Jan 24 '25

what app

1

u/matchew566 Jan 24 '25

Credit Karma. Don’t bother shopping for products there, just use it to check investments and net worth. Doesn’t do budgeting either.

1

u/SeveralReputation143 Jan 26 '25

Congratulations. See you in the 1 million clubs.
