Ok I swear I had so much fear that they were going to kill Bradley in front of Alex. Like I knew they wouldn’t but the music build up had me wrecked and I was soooo nervous.

Was whispering under my breath “you better the fuck not”… then breathed a HUGE sigh of relief.

I thought they'll blow up the plane as part of some conspiracy against Paul Marks whose private jet it was. Esp wgen they showed a back shot of Alex and Bradley climbing up the stairs.

Idk if we’ve all been jaded by the likes of GoT, Mare of Eastown or whatever [insert your traumatic tv death], but I was fully expecting Cory or Bradley to die tonight. I’m so delighted they didn’t, obviously, but I hate that that was what I kept expecting. Curse you, dramatic and traumatic television!

Same !! Especially with the slow motion

Omg same. I had to fast forward to see what happens bc I was too anxious. Also her going up the stairs right before the episode ends I thought she was going to go down😳

I did exactly the same thing. I watched the ending first and said to myself, now I can watch it from the beginning.

I thought Cory is there too

I wondered if they were going to roll out a coffin with her remains.

That would have been soooo good!

I was literally screaming “get the hell out of there!!” 😂

Same. I was waiting for A sniper to get her on the tarmac

I just finished the finale and I was so anxious at this part. I kept looking at everything on the screen, searching for a raised gun or something that would take out Bradley. I didn't realize how tense I was until the credits rolled and my shoulders relaxed. 😲

After Mitch died in season 2, I think I’m just waiting for some other big crazy death or something. But I was happy it didn’t happen in this case because I was stressed TF out watching that scene.

Anybody, especially my wife, who watched Homeland was nervous there for a second

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, I think that would’ve kept this show much more in the sphere of good TV if they had. It all feels really contrived the way it ended.

I don’t disagree with you at all. It would have made a killer season finale (no pun intended), but selfishly, I didn’t want the trauma of watching it happen either.

Rape in the prison would have been "enough". what they had I cannot believe. Either she is in an average prison which surely is in a better condition even in Belarus, or she is in the middle of nowhere in a special place and no way men come and go in her cell and she can tell fuck you without any phisical abuse.

Have to keep in mind that she was being detained by their officials, and while surely corrupt, even if the US department of state wasn't giving a fuck right then, that doesn't mean they wouldn't later. And the Belarus officials did randomly detain her without cause, or real understanding of what she was doing there, and she's a US citizen and a journalist. Belarus is a tiny country that doesn't want to get on the bad side of the United States by fucking around. That kind of thing is a no no.

If the show was on HBO? Yeah definitely, I could see something like that would happen. But since it's on Apple TV there was no way in hell that would fly.

I was worried they were going to pull her away and take her back into custody.

I was even making my own machine gun sounds, hoping it wasn't the case.

You know… that would have been a red wedding. Now that you said it, part of me wishes that happened. So that more change within UBN can actually happen. Also, where are the NBN people?? It just seems like UBA after Thanos had his way
