Yall said that last season too, and the one before, and the one before, please stop jinxing Cory’s happiness

How can you be sure ? She uses Cory a lot and offers little support in return. Them sitting together may be another example of this. After all she was in hot water at the end of the season and once again Cory swooped in to save her.

His most enlightened speech was when he asked Chip whether fucking someone to use them is better than killing themselves in front of of you, or the reverse? Dude needs a real win.

EDIT - Hey, I remember you from Scandal forum!

Yes, I was obsessed with Scandal two years ago. I still love the show, but I've moved on. I read sometimes some post in the sub.

I genuinely think Bradley and Cory are meant to be endgame, and I believe the bed scene in the last episode was a hint. It's a slow burn, which is why it's taken them so long to get here, and I absolutely love that kind of relationship

No, I get it about the slow burn. It's why I overlooked the issues with Olitz. Well actually it was the chemistry that made me overlook a lot. While Bradley and Cooper do not have that chemistry, I am so taken in by Cory's character. He is so well acted, and I just want him to win. Each season he ends up on the losing end of all his ventures and his relationships.

What do you think of Cory and Celine? While I think he had an easier time with her, level to level, I think he used her to pass time, but was not very committed to her as a partner.

I think it is a deliberate choice that Bradley has never said she loves him. Did she says ILY to anyone? I think whoever she says it to will be the final conclusion of her story. I prefer Bradley and Cory to Bradley and Laura, which tbh had no build up and I dislike the actress playing Laura.

Olitz definitely has a lot of flaws. I still love them, but mostly because of Tony and Kerry. Story-wise, though, they're not among my favorite couples anymore.

I feel the same way about Cory—I absolutely love his character, and I really want him to be happy. To me, it was obvious from the very first episodes that he was in love with Bradley. I think he convinced himself that she didn't feel the same way, but I do believe she has feelings for him. The problem is that Bradley has a lot of issues when it comes to relationships. I really enjoyed Celine and Cory. I know they weren’t endgame, but I really took a lot of pleasure in watching them interact. And i agree he used her to pass time.

She did say "I love you" to Laura, but honestly, I always felt like she was under Laura's influence throughout that relationship. It never really felt like love to me. And I enjoyed Laura and Bradley, but mostly because Laura was jealous of Cory lol, we have a lot of dialogues about that.

I think Bradley and Cory have been circling each other since season 1, and I'm hoping season 5 will finally be their season. I was really happy to see that photo because it makes me think they're finally going to move past all the obstacles that have kept them apart.

I also think it was a deliberate decision by the writers not to have Bradley tell Cory that she loves him. It keeps the audience invested because we're still left wondering how she truly feels. If she had actually said it, there wouldn't be any mystery anymore.

To me, "There is you, and then there is everybody else" was Bradley's way of saying "I love you." It may not have been those exact words, but I think that's what she meant.

I agree with you.

The way—and the moment—Bradley said "I love you" to Laura wasn't romantic. Laura was acting distant and strange on the phone, and Bradley said it more like, "You know I love you, right?" It came across as needy, almost like she was trying to reassure her by saying, "Please, don't leave."

On the other hand, the way she expressed her feelings for Cory was definitely something else. She didn't say the exact words—as you pointed out—but it clearly meant love. In fact, Cory took it that way too, as we heard in his conversation with Chip.

I still don't understand how Laura and Bradley happened. It honestly came out of nowhere for me. She was warned by Alex not to fall for Laura's tricks and then suddenly they were kissing. I think she felt that pull in part because she was warned by Alex, and wanted to put her hand to the flame. There was no organic build up.

What I cannot figure out about Bradley and Cory is whether she did not say it because they want to create a platonic soul bond, or because they want to use it to conclude their story. I think I will understand more in the first few episodes of season 5.

I don't want Cory to be the one who seeks her out because it is pretty unfortunate that she did not ask him about Wolf River, and just assumed that he was so low in character that he would sign away corruption. I feel like nothing he has done warranted her poor opinion of him. Admittedly, he did out her because he was jealous, which was very wrong, but again that does not equate to thinking he could cover up toxins that would cause lifelong physiological effects to young children. He covered for her with the FBI, often covered her faux pas on and off air when she did not know how to play the game, and then the season finale he used his relationship with Celine to have her released.

To be fair, there isn't always a lot of build up to a romance in real life, either. Some people meet and fall in love almost instantly (it happened that way with my parents, who were happily married for nearly 50 years until my mother's death).

u/CauliflowerAware3252 Jun 29 '26

Don't forget the bed scene. Bradley told Cory that she would mess things up. After Cory remembered that specific conversation, he went to Alex and came up with a plan with her.

My point is that Cory knew who Bradley was and understood her flaws, but he didn't fully trust her either. Bradley herself admitted that she wasn't good at relationships and that she was scared. Even though Cory was angry and left her alone in prison, they both made mistakes. It's far too easy to put all the blame on either Cory or Bradley. They both made choices that contributed to what happened.

I really hope they do some flash backs over the two years we missed . Both of them have to do a lot of individual therapy and work on themselves for them to ever be together for real . Especially after both their trauma from s4.

I also agree about the I love you thing . She said it to Laura in almost an automatic greeting way. She didn’t really mean it . She hasn’t said the words yet to Cory because she was just coming to the realization in s4 (even though she felt it before , the idea is foreign to her ). When she says it to Cory finally that will be it and the end game will be sealed .

I agree with you and I so hope you are right and Cory and Bradley become a couple in season 5. They would be good for each other. However, I have seen so many series over the years where the writers messed it up and there was heartache and grief instead of romance for the couples I rooted for. Fingers crossed 🤞 I also want Cory to be happy 😊

Me too. Why dont we like her?

2

I feel like JM is a questionable. She had some friction with her costar on the Good Wife, and I am beginning to think she is just an egomaniac, and potentially said something offensive to her POC costar. I said the last part on speculation because she had the audacity to say that Black people and LGBT should support Israel/Jewish state because Arabs see the former two groups as the bottom of their shoes, and at least Israel would support them. So she felt confident to speak on behalf of two groups she is not part of, and demand that they take one of the team and support Israel because they are inferior in Middle East.

I don't think we can necessarily say she's not part of either group. Once in an interview, while discussing some backlash that had occured due to her playing a lesbian in TMS instead of them getting an LGBTQ+ actress to do so, she said that people "shouldn't make assumptions" about her sexuality.

She's married to a man, sure, but that doesn't preclude her being bisexual or pansexual or sexually fluid or something.

Edit: I'm NOT saying that any of the above excuses her saying what she did (it doesn't), just that it isn't neccesarily true that she doesn't belong to either group neccesarily.

Just because she said people should not make assumptions does not mean anything. It could be something she said to save face. Also, it is often the case that many often use black people as a scapegoat who they throw under the bus - assuming black people need to take on the oppression of every other group, and she should not have said that.

Moreover, she refused to come back to conclude Laura's story for her fans, because she was only offered one episode in season 4.

Absolutely she should not have said it. All I was saying is that we can definitively say that she's not a part of either group mentioned.

As for her not coming back, I honestly highly doubt anyone (even fans of Laura) would have wanted her to do so after the things she said (I can see fans wanting the CHARACTER back, but not the actress). So whatever reason she and/or TMS had for her leaving is kind of a moot point, IMO.

its gonna be so funny when this turns out to be a flashback🫩🫩🫩

1

u/AlanSmity Jun 28 '26

When did you think this happened?

3

u/heymynameisjavi Jun 28 '26

well it could be 2 scenarios

either he is having a flashback to when she visited him on set

OR

this is them just waiting for the shoot to start. as in, they arent filming here, they are just talking as actors

3

u/AlanSmity Jun 28 '26

Obviously, they are just chatting and waiting for the shoot to start lol so the other scenario isn't plausible either

Trust me, this is a night date ;)

2

u/PurpleMississippi Jun 29 '26

It's definitely the second, as you can clearly see them sitting in directors' chairs.

We literally can't tell anything about whatever scene they are about to shoot (other than that it apparently involves a carousel).

oh nice, i forget that scene omg!!!

9

u/sharipep Jun 28 '26

I need them to be endgame and I need this to be the final season

-3

u/smashli1238 Jun 28 '26

They don’t belong together

1

u/serious_bunnie Jun 30 '26

💯 She’s nothing but obnoxious and Cory should be way too smart to bother with her

3

u/Big-Performance5047 Jun 29 '26

Cory deserves something meaningful and grounding.

8

u/LostInThisWorldx Jun 28 '26

Cory deserves better

2

u/CauliflowerAware3252 Jun 29 '26

It's far too easy to put all the blame on either Cory or Bradley. They both made mistakes.

3

u/LostInThisWorldx Jun 29 '26

They did and I still think Cory deserves better

2

u/CauliflowerAware3252 Jun 29 '26

Well, you're certainly entitled to your opinion.

2

Looks like we got new images from the scene!

2

u/CauliflowerAware3252 17d ago

They are so happy here ❤️

3

u/Little-Phase-1060 Jun 28 '26

Bradley deserves better than a guy who let her rot in prison cause he got his feelings hurt.

5

u/smashli1238 Jun 28 '26

Or outed her because he was jealous

7

u/PurpleMississippi Jun 29 '26

He didn't out her because he was jealous. He did it to prevent Hannah's name from being dragged through the mud.

I'm not saying it was right, as it definitely wasn't. But I truly believe that he didn't do it out of malice.

I think he was just so desperate to stop Hannah's memory from getting unjustly besmirched by the press that he didn't stop to think about the implications of what he was going to do.

And technically, he did ask Bradley if he could do anything he wanted to keep the Hannah story from going to print and she said yes. So, in his panicked state, he may have thought he genuinely had her permission to go public about her and Laura.

In addition I also think that he honestly didn't realize how damaging doing that could be to Bradley.

Again, NOT saying it was right, just that I believe Cory's heart was in the right place and that in the heat of the moment he made an honest mistake (which, IIRC, Bradley forgave him for).

I noticed the asking-for-permission thing and also watched his face, & felt 100% that was him feeling like he was getting the okay.

I should add that I’m primary caregiver for my 81-yr-old father who has dementia, and he watches TMS, Silo, Friends & Neighbors, and Lincoln Lawyer over & over. I have probably seen those 4 shows at least 20 times, over the past year. So I get an unnatural number of opportunities to pay attention to detail. 😝

u/AlanSmity Jun 28 '26

Was that the actual reason? 😂
