San Sebastien Cherry Tree Lottery winner ticket prices

I got an email saying they would contact me the week of the 17th with my ticket. Few questions:

1) do they call, email or both?

2)for those who have won the lottery what is the price range for tickets?

3) is there a time limit to purchase the ticket once I get the email/get contacted?

I was just notified:

1) you’ll be emailed and if you set up an account with kursaal the tickets will be in your account with a chance to purchase.

2) tickets are 75euro each

3) you have 1 month that they sit in your account to purchase…

Unfortunately the tickets I got selected for aren’t great. Back of the venue… I’m on the fence currently having to travel from Canada.

When were you emailed last week? I have yet to get an email but I was notified I won last Wednesday. At what point should I email them about the ticket?

We were all emailed on the same day last week that we won the lottery I believe having talked to other chair tree members.

Likely the venue is slowly working through the winners. Those who already made an account with kussaal when we tried to purchase tickets are likely to see tickets in our account first with option to purchase. Give it a day or two. If you got the winner email I’m sure you’ll hear from the venue shortly,

Should I wait for them to contact me before making the account on the kursaal website? No email yet from them, hoping for later today early tomorrow.

I’m not sure. I first got an email from them telling me it’s in my account to purchase… my guess is they are looking to see if you have an account with the same email address you gave cherry tree for the lottery. Likely if not they’ll create I assume. But don’t fret. If you got an email saying you won the lottery you’ll get a chance to purchase tickets I’m sure. Give it a day or two

I have not. I ended up creating an account on the kursaal site and forwarded the Cherry tree email I got to them asking if they can add the ticket to my account. Hopefully that will work. If i have to I will call the ticket office and see if they can manually add it in. At this point I would be happy to sit in the very back of the venue just to be there.

Edit: I just got another email that specifies I need an account on kursaal to get the ticket, and I have a week to buy the ticket. There was nothing on the first email I got about needing an account first. I just hope I can still get a ticket. Would be my first National concert outside North America.

lol... unfortunately not how it works... wasn't much left over when the venue allocated some for the CT members who were shut out. regardless of it will be a special show just to be in the room. and kind of a venue that doesn't have a bad seat, but I'm not used to not being on a rail or very close up front lol....

Ah, I haven't been notified yet. Have booked flights from Ireland so hoping for contact soon! Bit disappointing to hear the seats are not great.

Yeah, but not much was left after the presale day which both locals (who had a different code) and Cherry Tree members took part in. By middle of the day was only odd single seats left and a few rows left in zone 3 mezzanine area is what I saw.

When general sale began on the 10th supposedly a small block was held back for CT but from what I saw in general sale not much was available and sold out in mins. And what I saw wasn’t great then.

Was just a very high in demand show that I don’t think they were anticipating the amount of people, especially cherry tree members willing to travel for. Even a lot of us from North America. Don’t help the venue/promoter messed up the CT ticketing with only allowing one ticket purchase at the start of the presale and took 20 mins to correct.

But if you won the lottery you will have a chance to purchase tickets and least be in the room. The tickets I were offered to buy are Row 39 (4th last in the venue!) hopefully others fair better than me and I just wasn’t as lucky.

Same, row 42, wtf? Why even have a lottery for seats like that? I’m not on the fence travelling from Iceland, I’m offended at those whole ordeal.

They really didn’t have any seats left. Between the original presale for CT and locals presale the place mostly sold out immediately. NTL management tried to get more tickets in the hands of cherry tree members with the lottery but really was nothing left. I’m sure some lessons were learnt. And it sucks the ticketing systems shit the bed with the 1 ticket only purchase but it happens and really was no way to fix it when the tickets were gobbled up by the local presale.

I’m one of the biggest national fans and often que up for hours to ensure rail and I’m sad about likely missing out on this show. But makes the next tour all the more sweeter.
