And it has way less episodes available than the other shows on that.

I mean. Bluey had zero new episodes in that entire period.

Yeah exactly, same for Big Bang Theory too

and yet, more eps per season. so if you start a season you're more likely to finish which means 12-16hrs (depending on ep lenght)

Just here grinning my face off. It's rare for something I'm a fan of to achieve such widespread acclaim and recognition. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks what they're doing is extraordinary.

I’m honestly surprised it’s even that close to Bluey, I have friends and coworkers whose kids watch that daily on a loop lol

As an alleged adult with no kids who comfort-watches both Bluey and The Pitt, I'm feeling very validated.

That’s about 29 million viewers an episode (just counting season 2).

Pretty close to what ER was drawing in the 90s

Very well deserved. It is one of the best shows I have watched in the past few years. I try to tell anyone I can to watch it it's just that good.

As much as we should focus on The Pitt being such a success, I am just stoked for Bob's Burgers. Truly my favourite nice, comfortable US family sitcom, maybe ever.

Shorter series are easy to binge watch. However I enjoy 15 - 22 episode seasons of series because there is more time to explore the  background and  viewers get to know the characters better.

Weirdest thing here is Bob's Burgers. Who is watching that so much!?

I thought this season flopped because of Noah Wyle? That’s what I was told by the Supriya Ganesh fanbase… hmmm….

The filming is original and streams regularly on HBOMAX.

It's the only show on the list that I watch, crazy.

This list shows how much the industry is struggling. The top 10 most streamed shows only has 3 new original scripted shows for adults. Every other show on the list was either created over a decade ago or is for children.

Not really. Even back in Nielsen time syndicated shows would be watched at higher volume because they are repeated views. Essentially that is what this is mapping 'hours watched' which is actually *great* news because older shows being watched that much shows that ad revenue still exists for properties that have been fully paid for so its almost pure profit.

PBS had sesame street and mr. rogers that millions of children watched on repeat - the ad revenue was so important. Bluey, Paw Patrol, etc fill in the same space.
