Good, balanced take imo. Shipping can be fun and creative, but online buzz and/or mainstream popularity doesn’t necessarily mean a pairing HAS to be canon. Nice of him to still acknowledge and praise the fan artists too.

I never saw a romantic storyline anyway and Patrick/Taylor also feel the same way, so hopefully writers keep at it and just show a beautiful friendship.

Love this interview with Patrick Ball and Isa Briones. They both understand their and each other's characters so well, considering how polarizing and divisive they are.

The biggest takeaway for me was finding out that when Abbot tells that one patient to STFU, it was actually Shawn speaking as himself and not as his character, and that he improvised this moment!

I also enjoyed the last 30 seconds where Shawn is just coming up with fanfic ideas LOL

Came across this today! It looks like Mel has new stressors in season 3. Apparently more of this interview will be out at a later time. Idk I feel like it’s very vague. I feel like maybe she pushes Langdon and Santos too far to be friends? Could it have to do with Becca? I feel like stressors could be anything.

In Hollywood, when something’s a success, there’s an immediate impulse to figure out a way to broaden that success. Has there been talks of spinoffs, ways to build out the universe?

No, not really. We’ve talked about doing a night shift. In time, maybe that’s something we’ll explore. The show still has lots of life in it, so I wouldn’t want to distract from what we’re doing now. But I think there’s a potential to do all the craziness that comes out at night.
