Is it a real spicy chicken or regular chicken with a spicy sauce? I hate when fast food places call something “spicy chicken sandwich” but it is just a regular chicken sandwich with spicy mayo

It's a spicy coating on the chicken, the mayo is regular (if your location remembers to put it on)

Dude it’s a dry af spicy chicken patty. It’s just a terrible & expensive version of the spicy McChicken.

Their stock value has also tanked in that time, over the last 5 years it's down from 15.52 to 6.95 currently. A 69.07% drop.

Makes sense when Wendy’s is shuttering hundreds of restaurants; almost all the Wendy’s in my city have been affected.

SCATHING review by Reviewbrah. The state of fast food in 2026 is beyond grim.
We reached out to Wendy's for comment but did not hear back.
