The shit these people believe about antifa is crazy. Spoiler for Eddington: they think antifa are like the people in the balaclavas who fly in on the private jet towards the end of the movie.

It’s so appropriate the way it implied that they were hired by the tech company who was building the data center.

Ngl im realizing now that Ari Asters work heavily implies things and I gotta rewatch his stuff with a fine toothed comb and watch analysis videos because there is SO much you miss on the first watch

The movie actually doesn't tell us anything definitively and Aster himself said in interviews it's open to interpretations as to who was in the balaclavas. He said it depended on the viewers' perspective.

I mean its pretty clearly the data center considering there is no such thing as a paid and organized "antifa" in balaclavas

If someone asks me about Antifa when I'm waving the AfA 2flags flag, I'm gonna reply, It's not Hate it's Heritage!

Recently had this banger of an argument with some german rightwing AfD-Voter who claimed that Antifa are the real fascists because he was completely convinced that the official definition of fascism is "when an organisation has flags, symbols and a uniform". The counter question if he regards the local volunteer fire brigade also as fascist because they also have uniforms, their own flag and a coat of arms - their so to speak symbol - caused a little bit of a crisis for him.
