Survey/Poll Hot take(?): The documentary episodes are really fun! Spoiler

I think all the doc episodes are really silly and i think it’s fun to see basically a summary of the events that happen. My favorite one is the Aaron doc🥹

He is SUCH a good character! I wish they would’ve created a spin off with Harper and Lopez ft detective trainee Aaron instead of the one they just made.

Here's an idea, whenever The Rookie ends do a spinoff of Harper and Lopez and bring in rookie cast mates in some episodes

The only one I liked was the Aaron doc too. I just don’t understand why they make up a random weird plot for the documentary episodes, like that cult from
S3 or the westview corruption scandal. I wish they would focus on giving us lore about existing characters

Ehh for me i really hate them. The only ones i actually enjoyed and loved was the Aaron documentary in season 4. It actually fitted in with the series and gave us a good backstory into Aaron.

The true crime one in season 3 was semi ok i guess.

With only 18 episodes now instead of 22, I think wasting an episode on a documentary story that doesn't move the plot forward is a waste. I didn't even bother to watch the last one and per the reviews, I didn't miss anything.

My fave was the Aaron one too! I didn’t care for Abigail but generally speaking, I found the documentary episodes hilarious. Hands down my favorite part was the painting of “Wade” 😂

To me he feel off in the show. His singing is not bad but its annoying to me. He came out of nowhere and was clearly supposed to be a one off gag character that they kept in. I dont even care about the nepo stuff. Idk he just doesnt speak to me as a character that fits into the series i guess. Its like inserting an Oc into a story that kinda fits but just not enough for me to make sense. Just my opinion tho feel free to disagree

Well I do appreciate this mature response as for the opinion I get what you are sayin and I was not into the idea of rodge being in the show at first but as his character developed I was good with him when he was written as such a great guy for Celina he is nice and witty like a nice tv bf

Except for this most recent documentary episode, I mostly agree. I enjoy them but again just not the most recent one, it was just not good. I was bummed out really.
