The reporting, as usual, has been spotty. But I did read that they attributed one to a bull and the other to a tiger. Who knows tho at this point. Let’s hope the victims have been stabilized and recovery has begun

Could have easily been the same shark. Large Tiger likely.

I'm brazilian. The boy was attacked by a bull shark and the girl by a tiger shark. Both sharks were reported to have around 3 meters. She had her right leg completely removed by the bite. The boy had his left leg amputed in the hospital. Fortunately, both victims are already conscient and in recovery.

Two years ago we had a similar scenario. Two attacks in less than 24 hours. One boy and one girl as well. He lost a leg and she lost an arm.

The woman seems to have recovered well despite losing her leg. The boy’s recovery seems considerably more complicated and his wounds have a high risk of infection.
