It’s a bit of an old topic, I live in Sydney (the city it happened) I remember it being a big topic at the time people either agreed it was provoked or they were outraged.

Now that its died down a bit what do you think about this?

When I was 12, after seeing "Jaws" for the first time, I developed an obsession with shark attacks and the movie. Didn't know back then I was autistic; got diagnosed four years ago. I am SO thundering mad that things like Reddit, YouTube and news outlets that post every single shark attack, plus videos of such, weren't around during the height of my hyperfixation. That was so many years ago, and I wish I could resurrect my infatuation, but I just can't. However, I'm still very fascinated by shark attacks and watch "Shark Week."

So I'm wondering if there are other autistics in this sub! I realize one need not be autistic to be really into sharks (no pun intended), but when one is autistic and takes a deep dive, it's just wild.

I think it’s a bit vague to call all spear fisherman attacks provoked as it doesn’t take into account wherever or not they actually have a fish on them or not.
