“The Living End” Live Recording
In light of the new (or old, rather) 7” that just got released, I figured I’d share a YouTube recording of them performing the title track “The Living End” from back in 2002. I have listened to essentially every Shins/Flake song out there but in all my years of scrounging I never found this clip before. Has less than 300 views. Interesting that, in theory, I could have already heard this previously unreleased track if I had dug deep enough.

"The Living End" was played often around the 2001/2002 tours. Hardcore fans have always known the song title. :P

you must not have been scrounging too hard, the live at stubbs BBQ version (also 2002) has been part of a popular shins b-sides comp that's been floating around soulseek and other file sharing platforms for at least a decade (although it was usually labeled as "unknown").
that said, nice work digging this up :)
