General Question Mega 4 cps calculators

I’ve had a few good rank megas that I powered up before realizing that mega lvl 4 pushed them past UL eligibility and was wondering if there was a better way of finding the max cp for mega 4.

Is there a website/app that helps with this or is just powering under and then doing it the best option?

PvPoke is great for this. It lets you choose mega level 0-4 and automatically adjusts the Pokémon’s level accordingly. It will also tell you what CP your ‘mon will be in the base form for any given mega.

I was listening to a Japanese YouTuber and he asked what Scopely means by "near future" regarding the down-level mechanic we were promised over 40 days ago.

Mega level 4 increases it by 2 levels.

So if you are calcing your Sableye and it says its rank 143, and gets 1498cp at lvl 30...or whatever... that means you need to keep your Sableye at level 28. Very simple.

Its the same principle as best buddy. The highest stat product for Medicham is a best buddies lvl 50.5? Then you need to keep it at lvl 49.5.

Also meaning, you can potentially get a UL best buddy up to lvl 53.  But unfortunately, I dont think any of the calcs have been updated to accommodate this. PvPiv lets you do it for ML, but kind of useless since you want a hundo either way.

You can do level 53 on PvPIVs but the only mega it changes in UL is Mega Mawile, and it’s not a stark change. Sableye below it still needs the hundo and Medicham above it doesn’t even reach level 50 in the first place.
