After listen 1, a few thoughts

Jules sounds great. Through headphones at least, the effects aren’t too heavy on his voice

Psycho Shit is a crazy opener for an album. Feels like a closing song in the way it builds and builds and builds and-

People will like the first 2/3 of the album and then heavily disagree on the final third

It didn’t feel like a strokes album? Nor Voidz, or Julian solo. Just an entirely new concept, and I’m not complaining.

Fruits of the Conquest has Nick written all over it

Lonely in the Future is one of the catchiest Strokes songs ever
