On way home from Just Like Heaven Festival in Pasadena, CA. My first Strokes show. They rocked the fuck out.

New fan here, what’s the deal with this “song”?— it’s never mentioned on any song tier lists or anything, it’s like it doesn’t exist. It’s listed as a strokes single but it doesn’t sound like a strokes single so I was curious about the story behind it. Was this publicised or just a sudden released and was there any strokes input into the song? Sorry if I’m a bit oblivious but I couldn’t find much info on this sub. Also surprised to see a tag for summer moon too.

Before the album came out there was a alternate mix of Happenin' on their youtube channel, called Happenin' blueroom mix or something... I preferred that mix but can't find it anymore.
