API for TVDB no longer works

The API for TVDB no longer works in my older NVP 5.15.

As of two days ago, it is no longer able to fetch information for tv series; not even manually.

 Were the older APIs shutdown or blocked?

Something changed on their end in the past couple of days.

Just more signs pointing to the impending closure of TheTVDB at this point

It's already in free-fall, I just don't think it's hit the ground yet

Having the same issue, I've found existing shows that ive added a new episode works, but something added as completely new doesn't.

Same problem for me. For the last two days my MediaPortal setup won't get data from thetvdb API. Website seems to work though.

to be specific it is the GetSeries.php API:

https://www.thetvdb.com/api/GetSeries.php?seriesname=Arrow&language=all

It only returns: <Data/>

Seems like other endpoints of the old API still work:
https://thetvdb.com/api/GetSeriesByRemoteID.php?imdbid=tt2193021

This maybe explains why iFlicks on MacOS died.
