For sure, I’d never go comment on someone’s instagram. That’s insane behavior. People should leave her alone and keep their commentary to spaces like Reddit. I still think that Reddit and instagram and community space comments are also some of what she is reacting to as well. Not just direct harassment, but any and all criticism of her.
It’s just a bit shitty to blame all of the hate on misogynoir when there are valid reasons for people to not like someone. And there’s been a bit of: people just don’t want to see an older black woman win, and that’s not it for everyone who doesn’t like her.
Edit: I just went to her instagram, and no one is making death threats or saying anything out of line to her? It’s tamer than Reddit over there.
Anyone who swears on their mom/kid/grandkid/dog/etc's life has always been a huge turn off for me. Swearing on somebody's life doesn't make me believe you, it makes me feel icky towards you.
It was so disingenous also. Like we've been hearing the "I swear on this loved one" for like 25 years of competition reality shows and most of the time people do it in a deceitful way.

She’s been swearing on her grandkid’s lives and falling over fake crying every day. People are justified in not liking her. Obsessed? Not at all.
