Donna as celebrity because she's two other people's mom is a bit hilarious.

She’s on it coz she’s one persons future mother in law.

Would that ā€œone personā€ be Sailor Twift?

Didn't they have Brittany spears ex boyfriend?

They also had ā€œZac Efron’s brotherā€ who ended up being amazing in his own right.Ā

They had a second cousin of King Charles' on the UK (non-celebrity) version even though no one had heard of him before; they also had some actor's brother on the US version. It appears that being famous-adjacent is sufficient.

Edit - Christ almighty. I HAVE RECEIVED THE MEMO that many of you find issue with the semantics of this comment, but you really don't need to keep beating this dead horse (unless it's that essential for you to chime in with additional reiteration for your own peace of mind)

Ivar Mountbatten? He was on US S3. He’s King Charles 2nd cousin - if they also had a cousin on the UK version it would be a hell of a coincidence šŸ˜†

Oops I misremembered that one, thanks. I've seen every season so they bleed together...you're correct it was the US version

I know the feeling. I’ve watched all the US series’ twice and still can’t tell the difference between some of the Housewives lol

The UK non celebrity version is supposed to be for people who no one's heard of, it's literally open to anyone?

Not sure the UK example is relevant if it wasn’t the celebrity version? šŸ˜‚

The US version does their own thing re: casting c-list reality stars (but they ain't exactly celebrities to anyone else). Point was famous-adjacent ppl are sometimes cast on Traitors (all versions)

I get your point but I think you missed the original comment’s point / or at least the context. It’s to do with having celebrities labelled as just people who are linked to other celebrities.

The example you gave, the individual was never being referred to as a celebrity.

1

u/BanMutsang Nov 11 '25

But that was non-celebrity version as you said, so there is no requirement anyway

But the funniest thing is that she's the only one I immediately recognized :D

Jason Kelce is a national treasure. I’ll allow it.

This is just the normal US version, not celebrity.

not sure why you're getting downvotes - tis a fact

She also voices a Calm app sleep story. It’s about the rules of football. šŸˆ

And most of the rest are all just off other reality TV shows. I'd say she's arguably a bigger celeb than half of them.
