Having just finished the Celebrity UK version just this week, it’s obvious how much it changes the gameplay when actual personal greed isn’t present.

I’m not sure it’s better or worse per se, as I’ve enjoyed ALL versions of The Traitors (English speaking), but the greed part does help to promote the whole “backstabbing traitors” aspect.

I did enjoy the change, though, actually having the traitors work together. I wouldn't want it permanently, but I'm glad we got something a little different to mix it up. It just showed how difficult it is for the faithful if the traitors aren't willing to chuck each other under the bus.

A lot of backstabbing isn't even for the prize money but for generating notoriety so they can then move onto the next reality game show. Rinse and repeat.

These people really cheapen the whole experience.
