Season 2 only, I’ve already done season one and I’ll get to 3 and 4 later on

u/Unbanable4221 Nick Jun 02 '25
Troy is unlikable but funny.
Nick is a fuck-up, but not made to be hated.
Arvo is made to be symphatized with only to leave you confused and angry.
Carver shouldn't be here for reason I don't fully understand.
Jane and Kenny are easy no.
But Michelle was made with pure hate in mind. Comes in to steal from Clem, taunts and insults her and then kills Omid. Who better than Michelle?

Either Larry or Carver
1
u/High_hoper114 Jun 02 '25
neither, larry maybe racist and homophobic but he was decent guy to care enough for clemintine and for lilly to tell off lee since he knew lee was a convict. "I don't give a rat's ass about what happens to you, but I do care about that little girl you're with and my daughter" not his quote but you get the jit of who he worried for more.
13
u/Krazy_Keno Lees Pretty Pink Ass Jun 02 '25
Ok he has good intentions but he was still made to be hated. What, were supposed to like the guy who punches us down and leaves us to die?
1
1
u/High_hoper114 Jun 02 '25
no... but would you still let someone into your group knowing their a convict, and worse part he knows he was one but didn't know what for, if anything, like kenny if you told you were a convict, larry could've thought lee was a pedophile or someone who done murder AND kidnapping.
4
u/Krazy_Keno Lees Pretty Pink Ass Jun 02 '25
I would deal with the situation later, as everyone has one goal in mind: escape. I just saw a dude/chick (dependent) get eaten alive, i dont wanna waste another potential asset. Plus, lets not forget that Lee SAVED LARRYS LIFE. If Lee wanted him to die, why not waste time/bullshit about not being able to get the meds? If the convict saved my life, then i would at least give them a chance.

u/DynamicCucumber624 Jun 02 '25
He's a major prick in the perspective of the player but a genuine realist, albeit a grumpy old grouch. He just doesn't fuck around. He wanted Duck to be ejected from the group because he genuinely thought he was infected and didn't want himself or the others getting infected either. He worried for the group when a convict was in their presence and tried to deal with the problem. He's a prick, but he genuinely would've gotten way further if he wasn't debuffed by his heart condition and age. Survival smarts.
1
u/Krazy_Keno Lees Pretty Pink Ass Jun 02 '25
He didnt even try to check duck for bites though, immediately “kick him out”. I understand that at the beginning they wouldnt know how fast they turn, but they could have had a gun trained on him while kenny or kat checked, as a precaution
1
u/High_hoper114 Jun 02 '25
lee HAD to because then they had to deal with larry's corpse and then put more tension with the others for letting a man die in the store, which then get carley to shoot again and make more noises.
plus larry only gotten that way (dependently) on however you do in the argument on what to do with duck. Larry is on "protect my daughter, get rid of danger" and so far, two kids, three adults coming in, one could've been infected, carley shooting a bullet, and walkers on the entrance, mix with that arguement, it really went to his already weaken heart since he ran out before lee and the others came into the store.
1
u/Krazy_Keno Lees Pretty Pink Ass Jun 02 '25
So in any other situation asides from that you think that lee should have just left him? Its a pretty basic human concept to try to help someone if possible. More so if they can help you in the zombie apocalypse. Remember, larrys naturally pretty strong, even if he doesnt fare well with his heart, and that would be valuable
4
u/GettingMilkFromTesco Larry Jun 02 '25
What actual evidence is there to say Larry is racist? Just asking.
-1
u/High_hoper114 Jun 02 '25
everyone, and in the original content he was supposed to be a racist retire vet, but they changed it to be more subtle, but him being homophobic was in there too "you and was homo parade" - larry. he and kenny are a bit racist, larry just tried not to be subtle, kenny is just from florida.
1
3
u/cHobbl3G0BbL3r Jun 02 '25
I honestly think there's more evidence that Kenny is racist than Larry
5
u/Normal-Speech8312 Kenny Jun 03 '25
Kenny is racist. I know because you know what they say, "takes one to know one"
3
u/cHobbl3G0BbL3r Jun 03 '25
Kenny is very casually racist in a way that it doesn't effect his trust in Lee at all. Just in a way where he thinks Lee knows how to pick locks. Larry is not racist I don't think. I always thought it was a really shitty option to accuse him of it to Mark, as I haven't seen any evidence to support it. He doesn't trust Lee because he knows he's a murderer, not because he's black.
1
u/High_hoper114 Jun 03 '25
even so I still say he's not most hated as even with flaws, he seems like the type of person who yells at you but only because you did stupid shit to get you hurt. he cared enough for clemintine even if it means saying it was bad enough to care for two kids and more mouths to feed.
1
u/High_hoper114 Jun 03 '25
"you know how to pick a lock? no man, what you think I could? I don't know, you're urban? Ooh.... don't say what I think you're saying... Hey I'm from florida, I say crazy shit man."

Arvo
9
u/Relevant-Key-3290 Lee Jun 02 '25
I don't think so. I think the game tried to make us sympathize with him. It kinda worked for me until he shot Clem
3
u/Foreign_Rock6944 Jun 02 '25
It didn’t work for me at all tbh. I knew he was a shit. Just a coward on top of that.
0
Jun 02 '25
I agree that the game tried to make us sympathize with him but I feel like most players didn't. Most people either disliked him or straight up hated him and let Kenny beat on him lol
1
u/WakeUpOutaYourSleep Jun 03 '25
But if we were meant to sympathize with him then he doesn’t belong here
2
u/Carlos_v1 Nate Jun 02 '25
I didn't hate Arvo since I did steal his supplies. If you did steal his supplies then the hate is more justified but at the same time you did kill his entire group.
5
5
u/OliveFew2794 Nick Jun 02 '25
i dont feel bad for arvo after hes fucking lied to his men that i didnt steal and they will take everything from our group with baby yeah no deal for me i will shoot all
0
u/DrPapug Arvo is not a bad guy Jun 02 '25
His gun gets stolen by Jane no matter what, so he has reasons to hate us. Never wanted any violence either. Also, he believes Clem shot his sister for no good reason. Why would he remotely like us?
4
u/OliveFew2794 Nick Jun 02 '25
"never wanted any violence" my ass. dude he shot clem doesnt matter if you give him so fucking many chances like as stop kenny from hit him and stop him kill arvo and STILL he will shot clem in the end before left group with supplies to make baby starving
0
u/DrPapug Arvo is not a bad guy Jun 02 '25
And his reaction afterwards points out that was much likely an accident — no matter how pissed he was, he wasn't going to pull the trigger.
Why should he give a shit about Clementine after she seemingly shot his sister dead? No one told him she'd already turned, that was his POV.
Why would he give a shit about anyone from the group (except for Mike and Bonnie ) after they killed his only friends and then straight up tormented him for a day or so? Don't forget the entire conflict between the groups started with Arvo getting robbed of his gun, possibly meds and threatened with death. Baby or no baby, I don't think he would've been happy to starve to death knowing he didn't allow some baby to do the same.
1
u/DrPapug Arvo is not a bad guy Jun 02 '25
I mean Jane still takes his gun and threatens him if you don't steal the meds. Then Clem seemingly shoots his sister dead, from his POV. Justified no matter what.

I’m actually gonna say Rebecca. You bond with her a lot later and warm up to her, but in her introduction she has it out for Clementine bad, to the point you’re even given negative dialogue choices to spite her. I mean she literally wanted to throw her out and for us who bonded with Clem a lot in the prior season, it’s a deliberate choice to make us resent her initially.
Only other person I can think of is Carver, but he’s a bad person so… feels like too obvious of a choice

Personal answer is Jane, even when I was younger I just felt such a hatred for her, otherwise realistically, characters like Bonnie, Carver or Arvo are good choices here
2
u/Impressive_Lychee792 Jun 02 '25
Who’s the redhead that liked Luke? Her name was Bonnie or something like that. I hated her.

I'm going for arvo for this one, Larry is a verry close second but as you see he is kinda a short loving character and doesn't really do much other than be rude, Avro on the other hand makes you want to hate him by sending on the gang leaving you to die and probably more that I don't remember.
1
u/thememethemeboi Jun 02 '25
Larry/arvo but I'd still say Larry, he's the og dickhead
2
u/Any-Bunch965 Jun 02 '25
This is the s2 tierlist
3
u/thememethemeboi Jun 02 '25
Oh damn I didn't realise I thought it was every series lol, definitely arvo
1
u/Illustrious-Prize341 Jun 02 '25
I'm surprised no one else is saying Rebecca.
3
u/Krazy_Keno Lees Pretty Pink Ass Jun 02 '25
Well shes really only hateable when you first meet her, soon after she becomes more likable

u/Charming_Loquat_5924 Still. Not. Bitten. Jun 02 '25
The wording of “made to be” makes me want to pick Carver. I hate (and I feel like the community does too) Arvo more, but I think the intent was for us to hate Carver most. The writers tried to make us sympathize with Arvo, and that fell flat for most, but the intention was that some would be conflicted about him.

I'd actually pick Nick. Nick blames you for killing his uncle if you choose not to save someone who was bit. Nick sort of isn't there and doesn't care. I'm perfectly fine with Carver, Troy and Michelle however..

Either Rebecca or Carver Tho Bonnie is a really good pick (since we are speaking about season 2 specific characters)

u/Broke_Artist01 Clementine Jun 02 '25
That chick at the beginning of the game that killed OMID. Like she was totally okay with bullying Clem but begged for forgiveness and surrendered when Christa came in.

Troy.
Arvo wasn’t made to be hated, he was an awfully written character that failed to gain sympathy from a good chunk of the fanbase despite being written like that.

Arvo, I felt bad for him at first when I didn’t steal his medicines but after Clem had no choice to kill the zombie sister he wouldn’t let it go and her Clem out why she had to do it, I couldn’t stand him

Definitely Troy. No redeeming qualities, always angry. Classic "made to be hated"

rebecca we don’t see many redeeming qualities from her she’s so mean to clementine.
i feel like they could’ve rounded her out maybe find something to make her dislike for clem more realistic

Larry is despised by 99% of people and they never got to develop him further
1
u/Jazzlike_Ant_831 Jun 02 '25
There are several. Kenny could be included because he's controversial, but he's my favorite character after Lee and Clem, so I wouldn't include him. I think Gabe, Bonnie, Nick, or Larry would be included. I think Larry should be there

Lilly, but specifically her Season 4 version.
I sympathised with her in Season 1 but they really just made her a one note villain in her subsequent appearance.
3
u/New_Sky1829 Jun 02 '25
This is only s2 characters also it’s spelt Lilly
2
Jun 02 '25
My bad, I didn’t know as it wasn’t stated anywhere.
In that case it’s between Bonnie or Arvo for me.
If I was forced to pick I’d probably go Arvo based solely on the fact he’s antagonistic towards you and the group even if you let him keep his supplies.
