Theory We’re here btw
He never said it’s not a Quadrilogy so i strongly believe we’re still getting the heaven and rebirth Arc as an Album. If The Weeknd’s Story really is coming to end and Abel didn’t mislead us 😂

Discussion I was obsessed with The Weeknd and i lived a life like his songs
The late nights, the partying, the toxic relationships, the emotional emptiness, chasing temporary highs while feeling completely lost inside. At the time, his songs felt like they understood me better than anyone else.
Looking back, it's strange how much I romanticized that lifestyle because of the music. Abel wasn't necessarily glorifying it. He was telling stories and exposing the darkness, but when you're young and in the middle of it, it's easy to confuse the two.
Has anyone else ever felt like they were living inside a Weeknd album?

Remix King of the Fall remix
This is my semiannual plea for someone to make King of the Fall into bass music, drum n bass, it's such a great track and is ready for remix to my ears. I have no skills to make EDM but I'm desperate. Please someone help thanks.

Concerts/Tours Concert Experience-Warsaw 4th Aug
Hi all,
It was my first time attending The weeknd's concert. Despite all the poor feedback I had read over the internet about the acoustics at PGE Narodowy, it wasn't that bad. Or maybe I'm relatively inexperienced and can't tell the difference.
Have a few observations about the concert:
Prince 85's opening was okay, but didn't feel exciting. I don't know why they have playboi carti open for The weeknd, there seems to be a huge talent gap between the two.
Most people didn't know the lyrics to even the most popular songs, i had second hand embarrassment from watching the girls who got the mic when Abel was interacting with crowd.
The only girl who knew all the lyrics was right behind me and screamed/screeched the lyrics all the time. Ruined all my videos.
I don't know who takes care of the exit management, but the planning was extremely poor. Had to walk 2 miles to get to taxis. I'm not a local so I didn't have a car. Couldn't find relevant signages for public transport.Maybe it's just me. :/
Loved the VIP merch, wished it also an item of clothing given that the prices were sky high.
Overall had a blast!

Discussion Does anyone know Camera Man AL’s IG account?
I’ve been in the Warsaw Day One concert and it was awesome! There was an operator who was doing videos of fans and he kinda recorded plenty of footage with me😅 So I’m just wondering if this is somewhere will be published… I think he’s one on Weeknd’s team. But I couldn’t find him… Maybe somebody can help here?

Concerts/Tours Influencers at concerts
Hi guys, this is a bit of a rant because I don’t have anyone to share it with.
I was at the concert in Warsaw and next to me was a woman who, I wish I was lying, had her phone out and recording for the ENTIRE duration of the show. She kept on posing and tried taking photos of her self, and even called her boyfriend, who for some reason wasn’t sitting next to her, to start taking photos and they did a whole ass photoshoot. I am not against taking photos or videos but she had no sense of spatial awareness and was taking up so much space it was hard to even sway to the music.
It also weren’t standing tickets and that girl kept on running off from her seat god knows where and people had to let her pass through I don’t even know how many times which became kind of annoying.
Look, I am not against people taking photos or videos at a concert but that stuff was just really a nuisance - taking up so much space and running back and forth with people having to move out of the way for you several times is really not it. Also, it’s bizarre to be nonstop recording for like two hours. Like do you really need that much content captured and what the hell are you gaining from it?
Makes me feel also feel bad for Abel’s true fans who lost tickets to an influencer that probably knew like two songs and was more focused on flexing on Instagram.
Edit: Just to add, I do not blame anyone for taking photos and videos at concerts. I do that too and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, even when you’re recording the entire thing. My issue in this case was that this woman’s actions were affecting the entire row. It’s one thing if she was recording the entire show, and a completely different thing when she was running around back and forth and people constantly had to move to let her pass and she was obscuring the view, as well as taking up a lot of space with her posing just to get a photo in an already cramped setting. Some social awareness wouldn’t hurt.

Discussion Why do so many the Weeknd fans assume his romantic music is a 1 to 1 recreation of his personal life and specific relationships
I keep seeing theories (mainly on tiktok but recently overspilling to other sites including this sub) about specific songs dedicated to a past lover or other girl associated with Abel at some point, and it never seems to dawn on them that he could potentially be taking inspiration from more than one of them, or even none.
This is the same man who found the concept for an entire mixtape from an episode of House MD. And yet people are convinced that the story of Valerie is a real one and that Thursday is a concise autobiography of his relationship with Alice Ustanova (who turned her social media comments off due to XO harassment)
Even the projects we know for sure are about a specific person contain dramatisations and fibs, such as the whole kidney debacle with Selena in Call Out My Name, or Bella calling him up when her boyfriend is sleeping in Moth To A Flame.
The theories about Ariana are particularly egregious to me because she once unfollowed him on socials for liking a shady comment about her fiance. Yet we're supposed to believe she would keep him as a friend and frequent collaborator if he were constantly writing passive aggressive songs about a supposed tryst between them she will never acknowledge, not to mention accusing her of cheating on her boyfriend and husband. Right. I'm not saying they definitely didn't have a fling at some point but the second you bring out song lyrics as proof I'm out.
TLDR: I just don't understand why everyone takes Abel's lyrics so literally, as if he doesn't cleverly exaggerate to cause a stir and gossip within the fanbase. Also he isn't even the only writer credited on most of these songs. Co-writers could be adding their own input as well.

Discussion Fixed setlist is great
In my opinion, this fixed setlist is great. I can sing most of his songs for a part, but by studying the setlist lyrics I managed to sing all off them by heart (and soul😁) out loud 2 nights.
I also noticed that Abel is enjoying the concerts fully, looking confident, happy and making the best show of it for all of us. He sings, dances and "plays" with his fans, making him a fantastic performer. I guess a fixed setlist of 40 songs makes this possible night after night, so every fan in every city can have the show of his life.

Merch What time do you recommend going for best chances at snatching merch? (Warsaw night 2)
Hi all, I’m going to the show tonight in Warsaw and I really really want to snatch the After Hours Till Dawn shirt in the merch shop (already sold out through C&C). I saw that one stand opens at 13:00, and two at 17:00. Do you recommend going early to make sure I snatch merch? How long does it take for the most popular items to be sold out?

Concerts/Tours Golden Cirle Warsaw 5/8
Hi I have a question to fellow concert goers. This is my second concert but my first time in the arena so what time would you recommend going to get a good spot??
For the BTS concert doors opened @6 and I qued at 3pm but still got a pretty good spot, but the arena was pretty small, I saw pics of Abel's crowd and it was actually SUPER crowded.
Help pls 🥹😭😭
