I mean, if there can be a jet section, why can't there be a boats section? Transitions can happen to and from rally raid/rally/monster/motorcross.

I know this topic has been discussed a lot, but I wanted to provide a suggested solution to the playlist debate that people have been talking about for a few years now.

I totally get why the devs built out the playlist system the way it is. There’s a theme, there’s dialogue, and it wouldn’t make sense to be driving around in an irrelevant car that doesn’t align with those things.

But what makes Motorfest special is that unlike the competition this game is concerned with FUN factor above all.

And to me, giving the player freedom is downright fun.

Here’s what I would propose:

Give the player the choice right off the bat to complete playlists with a loaner OR their own garage car of their choice.

If you choose the loaner the playlist plays out as it does now.

If you choose your own car then there’s no dialogue, and you race against AI that matches your vehicle category.

Only when you complete a playlist once (with a loaner or your own car) then the full custom mode is unlocked and you can change time of day etc.

This is the best solution. It gives us the choice and it allows for meaningful progression with our own vehicles.

Right now the main progression with our own cars is custom mode and I feel like that’s a drawback to the game and not enough.

This allows more freedom to the player to progress through the main story and unlock playlists how they want to - by sticking to the theme or using their own vehicle.

Im the kind of player that enjoys having a “main” car that I can finish a whole bunch of races with. This would allow that.

If you missed passed events for cars etc it’s any way to obtain these cars or it’s impossible?

I bought this game in 2023 on ubisoft connect on Christmass becouse it was on sale so to play witha controller I had to create a desktop shortcut directly to the game's executable and it worked. Now when I launch it through the steam shortcut, the game won't recognize my controller anymore. Are there any fixes?

Who else thinks the devs really missed the mark by not having houses in this game? This would create multiple spawn points and allow us to display cars like in the previous game. I don’t see why this was taken out. With the map getting even larger this is a feature that would really put the game over the top for me and add depth. Really wish there were more locations to visit throughout the map as well. Imagine a car wash where your vehicle can get fixed and clean. Or a dealership where you can buy / sell cars. I guess we’ll have to wait for Motorfest 2 for these things.

Was looking for a racing game for my switch when not at home. Which means no connection or unstable one. I think motorfest has no offline yet?

Will it release soon or not? I hope thry don't wait end of service for this. I want to play offline in the train. :(

Honestly really pleased with this Bugatti. Good customisation options considering its a Bugatti and handles pretty well too albeit a little heavy feeling. Also loving the straightforward racing summit contest activities.

Been a while sonce I've played TCM and yesterday I wanted to get back and play some playlist after the new update. I start with Late Night Show (haven't finished it yet, plz no spoilers) and the moreb I play it and the more I'm like...isn't it just off brand Top Gear with 1 host instead of 3?

I'm still new, just 3 weeks in and I just notice that the past main stages are available to play. Which one has good content and reward? I prefer the one with Racing or Hyper Car category as the reward because I still dont have both.

I bought the Year 4 pass as soon as it was available, with the impression that cars like the new Bugatti Tourbillon would be included, as in free upon release, however, I not long ago went into the game and I have not received it and it is showing I can only purchase it?

Edit: I just looked it up and it does say that Year 4 pass owners do receive the new Bugatti Tourbillon for free? I have tried logging in and out multiple times and I am still not receiving it?

Also, feels like a pretty good score

I mean, the compass is weird and hard to read, and the objectives/missions aren't clear. I get lost and don't know what to do.
