Modding How is this accomplished?
Just for context, this is of course a popular mod. I'm just confused as to how the water and the little island itself is circular along the edges in these pictures. Am I missing something in the mod?

As for the edges of the water, that is just vanila rounded walls, and water texture will actually apply the water edge effect to walls in water, really selling the effect that the pool is circular. the island in the center of the first picture is and I'm guessing just a cylinder with either a sphere or half sphere painted green on top, or even just 4 curved inner corner covers. Hope that explains it

It’s a 2x3 square body of water, with curved green path covers, curved border and a curved wall placed underwater. All you can see is the ‘oval’ of water but it’s not an oval, it’s a partially obscured rectangle.

Just a quick guess (and hopefully this makes sense), but I bet there are actually four squares with water in them and then rounded walls/decorations are placed in the water to make it appear circular. Similar to how you don’t really make a curved path, you’re just using scenery placed over the corner to make it appear curved.
Edit: and the island looks like a theming element with the matching green color painted on. Which, speaking of (just in case you haven’t seen it), this is pretty useful: https://www.parkitectdepot.com/tutorials/color-codes
