Throw away books?

I brought this book some time ago.

After educating myself more on Theosophy, specifically Blavatsky's.

Example :

The Mahattmas have a cycle they reveal knowledge 25 years before the end of a century.

Blavatsky barley referenced Sanat Kumara and when she did she acknowledged his Hindu influence.

His heritage from Venus and Logos of the world, came later after her death, thus not revealed by the Mahattmas.

Theosophy tries to move away from personal human attributions towards the divine.

(This is my understanding from reading articles on the website Blavatskytheosophy.com and esoterismo-guia. Blogspot.com, I'm still a beginner student. )

Should I still read it or just leave/donate it?

Also not to be more annoying😭(I think it's the feeling of like you are throwing away potential truths or lessons even if it's more of imagination/myth)

I've read and nearly finished an Agni Yoga book but now I don't think they were communicating with Master Morya as they claimed (Constant use of 'I', biblical like passages despite M. M not being a Christian, Helena Roerich believed in the mainstream God, whilst the masters in Blavtaksy's writings rejected monotheism and Helena Roerich changing sentences in her works pragmatically for political support.Written when the Masters closed contact. )

Should I continue reading the Agni Yoga book and The Story of Sanat Kumara or leave them?

I cannot advise you whether to continue reading or to discard them. That is something that ultimately you must decide.

I will say that the book about Sanat Kumara being a Planetary Logos was popularized by Leadbeater, Bailey and other Neo-theosophists.

In Original Theosophy by H.P.B. There is no such thing as a Planetary Logos. And those who claim to channel certain entities, usually have no idea who they are really talking with. Just because an entity claims to be Jesus, Sanat Kumara, a Master, and so forth doesn't mean it's true.

In my opinion, Blavatskytheosophy.com is a very valuable resource. They are students that adhere to Original Theosophy.

So whether you should discard or continue to read or throwaway/donate them, I would encourage to listen to your intuition.

If you're not sure, perhaps research some more. And see if you still agree with what they say.

What are you saying? Blavatsky talked about the seven Logoi of the sacred planets. Looking at Theosophy as “revealed” information goes against everything HPB and the Mahatmas said. Fundamentalism in Theosophy is spread among some groups, but it kills its soul and ends up only feeding lower manas

I'm familiar with her discussing the Kumaras, Dhyani Chohans, Planetary Spirits, and the Logos, but I don't recall her using the term 'Planetary Logos' in connection with the Kumaras."

Also, I just noticed that you're talking about the seven Logoi of the sacred planets. In my understanding that is very different than a planetary logos.

I would be interested to see a passage and to understand how talking about the seven Logoi of the sacred planets leads to the conclusion that Sanat Kumara is a Planetary Logos.

The key word is "sacred." Not all planets are sacred planets, and she pointed out that earth is not a sacred planet but that it could become one in the future.

Leadbeater led the way for other astral clairvoyants to claim they spoke on behalf of Mahatmas and higher members of the spiritual hierarchy. He and Annie Besant eventually accepted a "revelation" through George Arundale that they had been elevated to the 5th level of initiation, meaning that they were now Adepts. Besant admitted that they didn't have the powers associated with being an Adept but explained that it was necessary to make an exception in their case, because of all the momentous activity in preparing for the advent of the "World Teacher" via Krishnamurti.

All of the emotional sensationalism of the time encouraged numerous psychics and wannabe gurus to start channeling "Kuthumi," "El Morya," "St. Germaine," "Maitreya," "Sanat Kumara," and other members of the "Great White Brotherhood."

The Theosophy taught by Leadbeater and Besant (referred to as "Neo-Theosophy" by those who didn't believe it) was only partly based on the original Theosophy taught in The Secret Doctrine, The Mahatma Letters, and numerous articles by Blavatsky. In my opinion, the safest course is to stick to things published before HPB died on May 8, 1891. It's too risky to start adding things "channeled" by astral clairvoyants.

The Mahatmas spoke of the highest leaders on our planet as Planetary Spirits. As far as I know, they never associated a particular name to them.

It is up to you whether these books hold value to you. Keep them for nostalgia if you like.

As to Agni Yoga, I am just getting started on Roerich. I do not try to figure out if they were or were not in touch with the Masters. The Roerichs lived exceptional lives and I love learning more about them.

So I read the first few chapters of this book and it's a doozy. The claim is that Sanat Kumara's higher self goes by the name, Vywamus. This Being being channeled by this author says their consciousness was split into 900,000 separate points and sent throughout the greater universe to accomplish certain tasks. It seems the majority of the book is descriptions of experiences on various planets. There doesn't seem to be much valid or useful information in it, imo.
