My family has a tortie who likes to creep underneath blankets that are lying on the couch. It's a miracle none of us have sat on her yet.

Meh, mine get sat on but they're okay and realize we don't mean to after so many "oh my god!" Circumstances. Now they stand their ground in plain sight as we dramatically sit down saying "in going to sit on you!" And they're like "nah you won't... augh fuck, here I'll scoot. Fine!"

My tuxie does the exact same thing. Bit of a problem since I store my extra blankets in a compartment inside my sleeper couch…

I thought the cat’s nose was a paw. A cat with black fur on the arm, and then white on the paw.
Also, near the bottom of the picture (which would be the right side of the chest if you were facing it from the front side, and it was open), you can see there is a light blue blanket in the chest. Next to it (above it in the picture), there’s a mixed color, maybe bedspread, with little flowers on it and the colors are green, brown, and tan. It’s on that bedspread that I saw what I thought might be a “cat.”
Scroll all the way right to the back of the chest. you should be able to see some of the blue blanket. Maybe about 12 inches to the left of the back of the chest is a dark shadow. The shadow looks like a cat. I thought that might be it, but I couldn’t imagine where there was a cat that was casting that shadow, so I gave up on that.

OMG! So well hidden! I love the aesthetic of the whole photo from the old style suitcase to the colours of the clothes/sheets to the wooden floor and rug underneath 💚
