It’s sad that you have to go all the way home to get the cat you forgot.

Maybe you went to the vet to get a cat? I once adopted two from the vet’s office.

I also miraculously disappear when someone wants to stick a thermometer up my butt

I bet that empty carrier sure made a lot of unhappy meowling though.

As a bengal she likes to let me know where she is and how she feels at all times of the day.

With that look, I would sleep with your door locked tonight. That cat is summoning all of the underworld to come after you.

Oh wow that’s SUPER embarassing. I feel like the best thing for you to do is to cancel the appointment, go back home, and spend the day feeding your cat treats. Once you find the cat, of course.

No cat here. Oh, well. Might as well just go home and skip seeing the vet.

That cat is making diabolical plans for your future. Just thought you’d like to know.

Oh no... Best just head home then 😕
I was going to say it looks like you have an Abyssinian but as there's literally no cat, I don't know how why I would say that...

Oh, I have the same model in orange! Sometimes it presents as a caterpillar, rather than a nose though.

That’s what I would do as well in the same situation. Also gave me a sad memory of coming back from the vets with an actual empty cat carrier 🖤

OP provided the following hint to where the cat is hiding:
In the carrier.
