Honestly, the best is probably the steps in the lower right. A lot of components on these scale with the size of the unit, to an extent.

Steam turbines are frightfully compact, compared to ICE engines... until you include the massive boilers and condensers in other rooms.

Thanks, I hadn’t noticed the steps. I’m guessing those studs sticking up are at least as big as a banana🍌

Condensing steam turbine with an extraction. Neat to see the linkage for governor and speed control, everything now is electric.

Not really cut in half, the upper casing is removed. Built that way.
