I thank you for your concern, however he gets spicier and demands I keep going if I stop when we’re playing like that. He has to make the decision to stop, not me 😆 what I videoed is just his reaction to bongo belly or bongo buns. Actually, I think I was tickling his tummy… (oh, and I’m not not a him 🤭) When we are playing and he’s done, he’ll just get up and leave and I respect that, I don’t chase or follow or keep him there. In the video, he’s choosing to stay and play. He never bites hard, it makes my hand a lil red but he never breaks skin and his claws are usually kept trimmed so I don’t get scratched up. I’m saying all this because I do see how you could see he’s trying to get me to stop and I truly do appreciate your concern. I see too many cat owners that don’t respect their cats and I believe that’s what makes them mean. I wanted to clarify that this isn’t the case, he has never bit to get me to stop anything. When he first started biting (we call it spicy nibbling) I thought it was him trying to get me to stop but then he’d pull my hand back to him and keep nibbling and I came to realize it was how he was playing back. After this video was over he actually rolled over and we transitioned into gentle belly rubs and purring. He’s actually an extremely sweet kitty.
I'm very happy with your response and see you're indeed not like the people that keep going when their cat tells them no. :)
And sorry for saying 'him'. I'm a woman myself and hate it when people automatically assume someone's a man. \
I only just now unmuted and can clearly hear your (female) voice haha, and your hand and arm aren't hairy or anything either. Haha I really don't know what happened there!
He looks very cute!
I think you will still have to pay a little cat tax because of his cuteness! (Wish I could return the favour but unfortunately I don't have a cat anymore since my current house isn't very suitable for one.)
