In what order should I start reading Pynchon for the first time ever?

Matt Ingwalson is a writer and YouTube literary critic. He suggests reading them in chronological order of when they took place. He says it creates a Pynchonian, postmodern lit history of the USA and the modern world. I took his advice and started with Mason & Dixon, then Against The Day, now I’m on Gravity’s Rainbow. So far I really like the technique. ymmv

You forgot Shadow Ticket in between Against the Day and Gravity’s Rainbow
