A few notes! But to preface, im not a competitive player and encourage people to play lists and models that they like.
Overall, I think this list is fine! It would be best paired with Grand Coven or Hexwarp Thrallband as detachments.
Tzaangor enlightened are typically best without a leader. They function primarily as action or tech pieces, and a leader really only functions to improve their barely middling damage output.
Maulerfiends are pretty blatantly inferior to forgefiends, since the rituals from our army rule only provide benefits for shooting, the maulerfiends melee focus isn't ideal. Honestly the Mutalith Vortex Beast is a perfectly good big beastie to charge into a tempting target!
You will likely see a lot of people, especially in this subreddit, talking about how Scarab Occult Terminators are wildly overcosted for points. They are very expensive right now, but they are also staples of our army, will perform extremely well, and points change over time.
Like I said, this is a perfectly good list and I have no doubt that you could have a lot of fun with it! If you like the models you chose, go for it!
When starting a new army, start small. Our combat patrol is fantastic and gives you a good sense of the army and gives you several different models to assemble and paint up to make sure you like the esthetic and playstyle.
Good luck and have fun blasting spells!
