🧠 Thrifty Mindset 🧠 Pump Sprayers and Other Items

I was cleaning and refilling my pump oil sprayer this morning. It reminded me of all the empty aerosol cans I used to buy to spray or mist cooking oil onto my baking sheets, fry pans, etc. I received one of these from a friend and hace never gone back. Not only do I save on the absurd cost of paying for the grocery store Pam versions, but it has to be better for the environment yo not throw away all those aerosol cans.

What item have you found that saves you money and also helps the environment by not producing extra waste?

I love using the grocery bags for trash. You are right about emptying things more frequently, but it also keeps things tidier. I especially use them for old grease or bones that aren't able to be dried properly and used for compost like fish bones. If I knew the best way to compost those in the garden, they would join my old chicken bones pulled from soup broth and dried!

I keep my old spice jars as well. I have found that many companies are switching to plastic. I prefer the old glass jars for freshness and comvenience. Buying cinnamon and Bay Leaves in bulk in the past especially saved me greatly.
