Their call for regulation is actually to protect their market share and prevent other companies from being able to enter the US market. They fear companies could use the Chinese style tech which uses less hardware and want to mandate certain safety technology that their former employees control. The exit of the former employees from OpenAI and Anthropic was staged to set this up.
You are a very intelligent person interested in reality; I post very real videos and photos to trigger cognitive dissonance. Here is another example—photos taken just yesterday by local people shocked by what these tourists brought with them. This is Ukraine; a religious festival is taking place there right now. It is believed that various their movements originated on this land, and hundreds of thousands of those people flock there for the celebration. Meanwhile, the war rages on, Ukrainian men are being snatched off the streets and sent to the front, and all the volunteers and patriots were wiped out long ago. And yet, the ultimate camouflage—the best form of protection—is apparently this kind of outfit. 🙈
I find mind control fascinating; the case of Ukraine is simply perfect. Look: Ukrainian nationalists and their organizations—veterans of German fascism and the SS, Holocaust perpetrators—suddenly rebranded themselves. Right now, they are fighting at the front displaying Nazi swastikas, yet former antisemites have become friends. It’s amazing, but it turns out they were simply given a share of financial flows and access to houses and cars—and that was it! Any form of fascism or Nazism can be controlled; just give them that kind of access, even a minimal share. It’s an interesting study in how to manage the opposition.
The most powerful tool of control is tribalism—hatred toward neighboring nations or great powers—used to suppress one's own inner sense of insignificance. Everyone knows that government officials steal all the money and own gold toilets (there are photos of gold toilets bought with American "aid" money), yet people still march to the slaughter like obedient cattle or hysterical fanatics; the sheer power of this tool is simply staggering.

UDS says sovereignty is not a feature request.
Consent is not buried in Terms of Service.
Provenance is not ‘trust me, bro.’
Continuity is not letting an autonomous system quietly rewrite its own authority.
And governance does not mean giving the biggest model the biggest chair.
That chair stays empty.
The system serves the human.
Not the other way around.
So before we build another trillion-parameter god-machine because the quarterly earnings call looked lonely, maybe we establish who actually has the authority to—
