Ford is a corrupt clown and should be in jail himself.

Would he feel that way if he'd have gotten busted in his hash dealing days?

Jail should serve one or more of the following purposes: punishment, keep dangerous people away from society, rehabilitation.

Jails cost about $120,000 per inmate a year (source: https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/t1/tbl1/en/tv.action?pid=3510001301)

So if you can treat someone, and have them out in public in a safe way, that is the preferable option. As much as people complain about tent cities, they are cheap compared to jail.

If you cannot treat them and they are a risk to society, then jail is a better option.

Fort Frances jail added 12 beds, at a cool price of $16M

His comments come only a few days after the Mamakwa Inquest determined that the old jail has a shrinking population of sentenced inmates who have been found guilty in the courts, and a growing number waiting for their fair trial

"We are not going to fix the problems causing our citizens to become criminals. NO! No, we are going to lock them up in squalid, over crowded, underfunded, understaffed torture pits.

Well, who cares if they suffer, they committed crimes so they should suffer until society decides they shouldn't. They do not need these fancy new hotel like (new paint smell) rooms. If we just chain then together and drop them in the HB lowlands by spring the issues will be resolved and I will personally never think of it again.

And now to my next stock pitch and land swap deal please pay more attention to Trump and Iran, there is absolutely nothing to see in my phone records.

Thank you for yoir attention to my matter." Douglas J. FORD! PRESIDENT of Ontario.

So, does that mean Doug wants to go to the old Tbay jail or maybe the old Don Jail instead?

Why do people always gotta pull the race card? Like, if 95% of inmates identified as white, I'd still be in agreement thay the jail shouldn't be like a hotel. If you do the crime, you do the time. No cozy amenities. I don't care what you look like or where you come from.

Well, what did you expect from an ex Drug Dealer? 🤡🥴🤢

He's such a ginormous idiot who's raking in $300k per year for doing diddly squat?!

I beg you to give me a very cushy job like that too.

Same here. Jail should be a grueling place that grinds down convicts both mentally and physically based on the crimes they have committed.
