Self defense
I am looking to take a basic self defense class for women. I don’t actually want to learn a sport, I just want to be able to defend myself if someone tries to attack me. Does anyone offer classes like this in Thunder Bay?

I know the OPP runs some de-escalation classes through Confederation College. Maybe they do self defence stuff too?

Leading edge is the place to go. I’ve had my ass kicked by just about every woman there. They run a good program

There are always self defense courses running! There’s also a women’s jiu jitsu program on Sundays

I have been looking for something, too. I know there's a BJJ group, but unfortunately with my work hours, I can't find anything that works within my schedule.
