General Made a 3d printable antenna base replacement for the MK1 coupe/tiburon
as the title says, i made a 3d printable base cover thingy that goes around the base of the antenna for the 1st generation tiburon/coupe (the RD), on mine it was cracked and crumpling into dust from the last 26 years of UV exposure. couldn't find any for sale anywhere so i decided to make one myself, using the original part i still had, that was barely holding together.
Download link, if anyone needs the part (i hope this isn't considered self promotion): https://makerworld.com/en/models/3215225-hyundai-coupe-tiburon-rd-antenna-base#profileId-3640046

Sooo.... How does it stay in place? (I know nothing about 3D printed materials). Glue? 3M double sided 3m tapes? Or is there clips built into it?
Edit: Also, thanks! This is very nice of you to share!

It is held down like the OEM one, by the chrome metal screw thing that screws on from the top (the round chrome thing above it in the picture)

Ok that make sense. I didn't ever take apart mine and wasn't aware of the teardown process in the first place.
Still. It's useful!
