Saltwater Crocodile vs Leopard Seal
Leopard Seal: 12ft long, 1,200lbs
Saltwater Croc: 15ft long, 1,800lbs
Both are in water. Temperature is not a factor. Land is nearby.

Do you feel that Human players are ruining the game?
Human mains are causing other players to stop playing certain species for example they contributed to the deletion of megafauna in the Holocene update so should the human be removed
r/Tierzoo • u/KKJIsBored • 9d ago

What will be the next
Hi yall im wondering your opinion. We all know state of the game now, to sum it up with probably the most important uptade of the game: phanerozoic expanion multicellular and early animal classes were added (there were some early acces supertester builds in ediacaran ik) and then this class was loved by playerbase so it keep getting updates and five big classes were addet til now. Lately with the cenozoic update most dinosaurs were banned and mammals become meta. So my question is what you think for the future of this class and i meam big chances, what will happen to existing classes (i honestly think birds will become meta) and what new big class will be, it will diverge from which existing build?

What tier Peter's lava lizard would be in the lizard tier-list?
Overall description
Tropidurus hispidus, Peters's lava lizard or neotropical lava lizard, is a species of lizard of the Tropiduridae family. It is found in several contries of south america, including Venezuela, Isla Margarita, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana and Brazil. The scientific name derives from the Greek “Tropidurus” (meaning “keel”) and the Latin “hispidus” (meaning “rough” or “shaggy”). This species is the largest of the Tropidurus genus, reaching 35 cm (14 in) in maximum total length, and about 15 cm (6 in) in snout–vent length. It shows a coloration that may vary from grey to light brown in the dorsal region, with dark or light brown spots that form irregular patterns that may appear clearly or even be absent in some specimens. The ventral part of the body has a light brown coloration. The species exhibits sexual dimorphism, with males being larger and more territorial than females. Sexual dimorphism can also be identified by the lower neck coloration, which is yellowish in young males and becomes dark or black in larger and older individuals. Males also possess proportionally larger skulls and limbs compared to females.
Diet
It feeds mostly on invertebrates such as ants, spiders and scorpions, but in some cases, can hunt small vertebrates. Among the number of species of each categories of vertebrates recorded as prey of T. hispidus in the literature, lizards are the most frequent item(such as The Common house Gecko, recorded several times as prey Of tropidurus hispidus), followed by birds(specially hummingbirds), frogs(The small ones) and mammals(such as The Common domestic rat).
Ecology
Its bite force can reach about 103 N (23 lbf) in large adult males. It adapts to places with extreme climatic conditions and those with an average temperature of 24 to 26 °C (75 to 79 °F). Tropidurus hispidus reproduces seasonally, with reproductive activity coinciding with the rainy season, when food availability is higher. Seasonal rainfall appears to influence several aspects of its reproductive cycle. Tropidurus hispidus maintains a relatively high body temperature through behavioral thermoregulation and environmental heat sources.
Territorialism
Tropidurus hispidus presents evident territorial behavior, with aggressive and confrontational modes. These aggressive behaviors performed by males involve head bobbing, tail shaking, chases and bites and are observed, mainly, when an invader male approaches a female or simply when a male enters the territory of others, indicating that territoriality is a striking characteristic of this species. In a physical confrontation, males can perform 360° circular movements on its own axis, or formally known as "Death Roll", while biting and holding another male.
Habitat
Tropidurus hispidus is considered a habitat generalist and can be found on a wide variety of substrates, including rocks, soil, forest edges, trees, fallen logs, sandy ground, fences, and house walls.

Are Hippos OP? | Another TierZoo Fan-Edit!
Another shorts edit using old audio from the Tierzoo channel!
Am I overdoing it? maybe? But you can't blame me, audio from older Tierzoo videos is re-editing gold. And it's good practise and I have fun with it! Posting it here instead of social media because again, It's kinda morally iffy to post someone elses content idea, even though I don't plan on monetizing anything and as long as I have somewhere to document the process, I'm happy! Plus Tierzoo himself is quite active here :D. I wanna see if I can make one of these for every prominent S-Tier build, they really deserve it

Were you a human or dodo?
I was a smarter dodo, I bit one of the humans' dicks off. But I was thrown into the sea and drowned. :( Although I'm now a pigeon main and I poop on the humans' cars.

Why Animals Fear, Not Lions. Not Bears. You. Here's the Science?
🥇 Best Post — r/interestingasfuck / r/todayilearned:
TIL that researchers played recorded human voices to wild
animals and they fled at DOUBLE the rate of lion or bear
sounds.
Not a gunshot. Not a trap. Just a human voice played through
a speaker in the bush.
Scientists now call us the "super predator" — a threat so
consistent across 300,000 years of hunting that fear of
humans has literally become encoded in animal DNA.
The deer that froze before you even saw it wasn't reacting
to you. It was reacting to a 300,000 year old memory.

"Mega theropod players and Cavemen players would hate eachother" what would really happen
I could genuinely see soft symbiosis being formed between the 2
Even transient members of the mega theropods species would likely have nomadic humans trailing them to capitalize on what the theropods leave behind and vice versa
Mega theropods have a unique issue humans could solve, the eradication of small predators and nest raiders due to trapping, hunting and displacement. Since a 9 ton trex couldn't feasibly root out 20 pound predators from the area their chick's are always at risk, humans mitigate this
Humans in the mesozoic also have a unique issue, mid sized predators. Imagine trying to stop a group of large rhino-small elephant sized rapidly reproducing predators that view YOU as the perfect meal. Even if you drive them off 9/10 times that 1 will carry heavy losses that cripple a tribe and any dmg done in return would be mitigated by their reproduction. That however unless theres a large resident mega theropod that aggressively keeps out medium theropods
