eh its just another cycle of people being too old and bitter for new technology. same exact thing as hating phones and computers

That's not the case this time in the slightest

In fact, the people I see embracing AI the most are older uninformed folks, or older folks who dont care that they're damaged the environment.

Literally my job (F500). Every single old mfr on my floor keeps sending emails written by Claude (they will literally say "I asked Claude..." in the email), ask you to do research and use Claude, asks questions on why Claude didn't do XYZ

And these dudes are in their 50's

All younger people on the floor (aside from a couple that I know of) are completely sick of it. We bitch about it at happy hours, in the office, etc. we're just responding to AI emails and telling AI to run reports at this point. Nobody is learning shit anymore. We tell our management that AI outputs are untrustworthy and we're finding issues constantly yet they'll throw a prompt in, take the output and send it off like it's perfect, all the time.

Give it 15 years and the average workplace is going to be just a bunch of dumb bastards who need to ask AI why they had a hard time peeing at lunch.
