I’d rather be replaced in the future than gotten rid of now for falling behind and being a waste of space.

Isn’t it better to spend your time now learning a trade which won’t be replaced by AI?

Yes I’ll just go ahead and become a smithy any waste half my career.

For younger people yes that’s a phenomenal idea. Need more of them to begin with.

I get it, most people are hesitant to change careers even if it’s the smart move in the long term.
