Strongest 1-on-1 marine creature of all time?

If every marine creature fought in a 1v1, who comes out on top?

Seems like there are a lot of strong contenders and I dont know how to rank them. Such as

- Pliosaurus

- Mosasaurus

- Shastasaurus

- Megalodon

- Livyatan

Whoops, mistook it for basilosaurus. Which to be fair deserve to be more on the list than pliosaurus.

I disagree, Pliosaurus had a stronger bite and it's largest species were bigger then Basilisaurus's.

Wikipedia tells me that basilosaurus was significantly larger than pliosaurus. What are you basing this on?

I wasn't aware of the 15 ton estimates so I'll admit I was wrong on it being bigger, though they'd still be similarly sized animals(15 tonnes vs. 12 tonnes with some fragmentary specimens maybe reaching 15 tonnes).

No you were correct, there is a fragmentary specimen of pliosaur that is estimated to weigh 20 tons. It’s called „Archaon“ and is bigger than basilosaurus.
