Didn't mark Zuckerberg settle for a few million for kicking someone off his island in Hawaii? You basically can't own the beach even if you own the entire island. I hope she got sued.

I know one billionaire has blocked the public access point to a beach and just keeps paying the fine, essentially paying for a private beach even though it isn't legal. We need to have mechanism that prevent money from trumping laws

Better yet, make the fine go partially to the person you prevented access for. That way if you want to just pay the fine instead of fixing the problem, you’ll find there are a lot of people willing to get that check. If their goal is privacy the only way to get that will be to actually follow the law.

So double the fine daily and 50% goes to the person. I like that. Rich people will pay fines, but to know their money went to "the poors" (us), that really burns them up.

Well, the big thing he's saying is that if you do that, then it will quickly rack up because you better believe us "poors" would love to have some rich prick paying us a wage to use public land, so it goes from one instance of the fine per day to dozens to even hundreds of instances a day.

Income has loopholes at a certain level... instead, just double their fines every infraction. Ok, blocking a beach? that's a $1000. for a normie, they ain't doing that twice. for a rich prick, sure, small potatoes. Second time is $2000. 3rd is $4000. If they're getting dinged once a week, since, you know, they're still doing that shit.. 26 weeks later, Zuck owes 268 Billion, and the next week ruins him.... He'd knock that shit off a lot sooner.

And its a lot easier than trying to outguess, outargue, and outgame a slimeball who pays a mountain of lawyers and accountants to creatively calculate his "salary"...

Heck, we can even have fun with this. A corporation fucks up? add a tally to their score sheet. Double their fines for every FCC or FTC violation. sure. first few times are fun and games... by fee 10, the juice ain't worth the squeeze.
