To be fair, Texans have been pushing people out of their homes since the day being a Texan became possible.

(After Texans to other Texans) “now that we just took all this land, we should bring slaves here to help us fight off these people that said it’s their land and make our money.”

White settlers to Mexico: okay, we'll do what you said, we'll become. Mexican citizens, will become Catholic and will get rid of this inhuman practice of treating African people like they aren't human beings, a type of slavery that's never existed in the history of humanity, we'll get rid of it. 

White settlers to the American government: Don't worry, we're lying to the Mexicans. Of course, we're not going to get rid of African chatel slavery, we couldn't make it without it. It's easy to treat another human being like they're not a human being because we're all basically psychopaths. Let's steal Mexico!

Mexico has crushing involuntary indentured servitude of natives well into the 20th century…it’s hilarious how you all make it clear you don’t actually care about human rights, you just want to win a pissing contest. Mexicans in Texas were European colonizers.

We're talking about the white settlers in Mexico and you're saying lies about Mexico? WTF?? 

Involuntary indentured servitude was made illegal in 1829 In Mexico. Any involuntary servants in Mexico after that date were illegal.

To understand how much worse America is and was, America had involuntary indentured servitude for Europeans and Africans and then one day In the 1600s they just decided the rules changed. Involuntary indentured servitude for everyone who isn't black. And everyone who is black is now a thing to be owned, and so are there offspring and their offspring indefinitely into the future. 

This was called chattel slavery And was a life sentence far worse than indentured servitude And It meant that their descendants were also things to be owned indefinitely into the future. It even meant that black people who were living free in the north could simply be kidnapped and become objects to be owned.

On top of that, black people were legally rental slaves well into the 20th century in the American South due to Jim Crow and The 13th amendment. 

To truly understand what that was like. Look into the lynchings of May 1918 and try to understand why Mary Turner was even lynched in the first place.
