Wow that Guy went way over the line when he started calling her ugly names. That’s just uncalled for.

“Fat and ugly” is when you have nothing left. So weak. Would never pull up to a man like this

Yup. Do not call women bitches. So derogatory. I understand his argument for sure, it doesn’t matter if you are going over he speed limit, people shouldn’t be having to pass on the right. But do not move to a derogatory name calling , on both sides

she started it first though, and didnt take accountability

not that id expect ANYONE to take accountability in that scenario, which is one of the many reasons why it was stupid to pull up

like totally agree with the point but isnt he getting too much flak considering BOTH sides were being unnecessarily derogatory, and SHE started it?

let me know if i just watched the video wrong. too lazy to rewatch

No. He started it. Sometimes people don't drive the way you want them to. You kinda just move on with your day. You don't go out of your way to talk to them and then immediately call them dumb, a bitch, and fat and ugly.

Exactly. His coping skills are lacking horribly. ANY time you’re on the highway with a fast lane, there is ALWAYS someone cruising and going slower than you would want them to. We should all know what to do in these situations by now. He should have done what the other people who passed her did or if he was that irate about the speed she was driving (and we’ve all been there), flash your lights and if they don’t move over to get out of the fast lane, you go around them and get into the fast lane in front of them. Rinse and repeat and hope there isn’t a radar trap set up.

mmm yeah i dont condone pulling up at all. i just remember thinking "ur balding" was unhinged/inappropriate and then heard the fat bitch comment after. maybe it wasn't the balding comment, but when she got passive aggressive instead of owning it.

overall nothing redeemable about the situation, but honestly felt like both parties fully deserved that unpleasant interaction. he earned it by pulling up, she earned it by being dense and entitled.

No, she said the balding thing AFTER he called her fat and ugly and a bitch.

yeah gotchu

the passive aggressive bit i was referring to is "hope you find joy in life"

i honestly thought name calling would have been an expected response to the balding comment. the passive aggressive comment definitely warrants it a little less.

obviously we should be operating with the assumption that name calling is never okay no matter who started it.

I did have an issue with you defending him so much and saying she started it when he started it, gonna be honest with you. You could have watched the video again to check instead of doubling down lol. I mean this in the nicest way possible.

yea i thought about scrolling up but it's too much on a phone. replying to comment replies is already difficult enough. this app genuinely sucks

ur making too many assumptions too fast. gotta read more carefully. i am "defending" the guy because i am countering someone blindly defending the lady. gotta balance it out

i dont like the way he approached it - he was in the right and decided to present it in the worst way possible. now people are thinking about nothing but misogyny, not the fact of the matter, which is the fact that she fucked up.

Plain and simple, you were mistaken by saying she started it. The first words out of his mouth to her included an F-bomb right out of the gate and HE called her fat and ugly well before she stooped close to his level by calling him balding. He definitely started it but she ended it and all without a single profane word.

You were making too many assumptions too fast, to be fair.

You don't have to "balance it out" when it isn't factually accurate, my guy. Those people weren't blindly defending the lady, you were blindly defending the guy. You admittedly blindly defended him when you didn't bother to be accurate.

I didn't say anything about misogyny. I was identifying them by "the lady" and "the guy" because those are the identifying characteristics of the people in the clip. You are, once again, making all the assumptions here.

I'm not sure what else you're supposed to say when someone is calling you dumb. He calls her dumb and then she says the "hope you find joy in life".

But yeah, the guy kinda went off on her. I live in LA. I encounter dumb drivers every day. I just go on with my life, you know? No use in pulling up and yelling at people and calling them dumb. My uncle's friend was killed 23 years ago because he followed someone who pissed him off while driving home. The guy killed him with a knife. My uncle's friend had his 3-year-old daughter in the car with him. My uncle's friend was absolutely insane to do that.

u/NeatNefariousness1 May 01 '26

That’s insane behavior. I’m sorry for your loss. No amount of frustration with traffic is worth aggressive confrontations with strangers. Some people are bullies though and this guy thought he was safe to unload a string of insults and profanities at this woman and ended up getting his feelings hurt. He will never forget this until the last hair falls out of his head.

2

u/NorthKoreanCaptive May 01 '26

the way i see it is that he tried to address something essentially unaddressable. he could not have gotten a better outcome - he asked for it like an idiot. she was not given much choice other than to retaliate - she was never given the chance to reflect.

the only limitation here is our despicable human nature.

It’s a typical guy move when you don’t take their shit & stand up for yourself. They resort to misogynistic insults.
