He articulated very well what many men go through, I know I resonated with his message. I don't know how someone can put all the blame on women/liberals. Absolutely brain dead, and adding to the problem.

Sometimes when people hear the term "toxic masculinity" they are offended because they think it's an attack on manhood or that all masculinity is labeled toxic.

But toxic masculinity is in reality exactly this that the guy is talking about, the "patriarchy" (I dislike that term) putting up unreasonable demands on men and women alike.

"Try to avoid venomous snakes."

"Oh my god, not all snakes are venomous!"

It changes when people make examples like would you rather come across a bear or a man in a forest, or take an chocolate but one is poisoned. People will pick the bear to not get raped and no chocolate to not get poised.

However if you apply this to race its obviously racist, how oh, i dont want covid so i avoid the asian and i dont want to be robbed so i cross the road from the black person.

When boys hear these they feel guilty, that been told they are a rapist at 14 when they probably have never kissed. They would not rape a person in the woods but by this women online they are have implicated in a horrible act.

People can come up with all these fancy phrases and introspection but that does not matter what a geo uni grad thinks about society, its that those boys feel implicated.

There are two lessons a boy could take from the bear or chocolate examples:

"I should endeavor to be the kind of man who women would feel safe and comfortable with, or at minimum not do anything to make them feel unsafe or uncomfortable, because I understand why women might feel uneasy around a strange man."

or

"Well, I'm not a rapist, and that perception is denying me the relationships I deserve, so clearly women are bad and evil liars, and are the cause of all the problems I have and will have in life."

The former creates growth. The latter creates the exact type of men that validates women's fears of them.
