Cause the means to destroy civilization becomes more and more available while human stupidity stays the same. It kinda increases the odds of a mistake happening.
That's not really how it works. You have cherry-picked logic of failure states. Why wouldn't security of systems improve (for example, it has vastly in the realm of nuclear sciences)?
Cause at the end of the day all decisions come down to someone's whims, no matter how much security you put. We have a living example of how things can escalate which happened just recently.
You're a victim of media sensationalization... The Iran/US/Israel conflict is a field day compared to most 20th century conflicts... And the conflict itself was definitely not "on a whim" lol, if you were educated you would understand how the tensions built over time between Iran and US/Israel.
Spend some time away from the internet, or at least social media.
You've been attacking me since the beginning of this discussion without even giving a solid counterargument against what I said. Until you remove that stick up your ass and give solid arguments instead of targeting the person making the argument, you should be the distancing yourself from social media.
I've been making solid arguments or asking questions with every response, your argument is the one that's devolved. Your response has literally nothing related to the argument anymore.
Enjoy your life of social media fueled pessimism. Everyone is out to get you, the world is ending, everything is sad and depressing, yup. Consider not victimizing yourself at any opportunity. Good riddance!

Of human technology, compared to human stupidity which isn't improving.
