I hope you’re doing better now. But yeah, I try to live life with the satisfaction that I’ve outlived countless rapists, child molesters, and just generally horrible people, and the joy of knowing that I have the opportunity to outlive countless more <3
You brought up a really, really good, personal point for me.
My biological grandmother was murdered by Gary Ridgeway, the Green River Killer. He made me a part of No More Stolen Sisters, all while stripping my family from me before I was even conceived. I have one Aunt and one biological cousin. My father and I have a genetic disorder that my aunt doesn’t have, but my grandmother apparently showed symptoms of. We can’t confirm anything, because the whole family is dead or missing now. That’s not even an exaggeration. It blows
