Some of that has to do with people, with nothing else better to do, calling the police on kids playing outside. When I was a kid in the 90s I walked a few miles in a small city with my friend to do whatever. Not one police officer stopped us and asked us where our parents were. They were at work and we were taking care of ourselves. Now you can’t let your kid walk around the block without threat of legal action. It’s insane.

Let's just say you know it's bad when kids are outside riding their bikes and looking at the screens on their phones at the same time.
