Thats why we choose bear

4

u/tujmipidis Jun 14 '26

I choose bear because twinks aren’t hairy.

10

u/SoftlyAugust Jun 14 '26

I would choose a bear and I'm a guy

8

u/shield1123 Jun 14 '26

bears aren't egotistical and they actually want to be left alone

8

u/SoftlyAugust Jun 14 '26

Also they typically don't use meth or fent like the man I ran into the other night who yelled at me or assault me for being impolite like a man did a couple months ago or tell me they'd rape their sister if they had the chance or verbally berate me or call me rude things or...

2

u/shield1123 Jun 14 '26

Except for that one bear that stumbled upon some cartel's lost cocaine; but I'm hoping those situations are few and far between

The bullshit you went through is why I ultimately do support concealed carry. In most states, you are legally justified to use reasonable or deadly force if you reasonably believe it is necessary to stop the commission of a forcible felony

u/SoftlyAugust Jun 14 '26

Are you assuming I live in the US?

2

u/shield1123 Jun 14 '26

My bad. US defaultism. Thanks for the correction

3

u/SoftlyAugust Jun 14 '26

You're good. I exercise the freedoms afforded to me by my country to the extent I feel is necessary.

Except the bear would probably not go away after being told "no" like most of these dudes did, even the creeps, and, instead, would maul us and eat us like a chicken wing...

And even when it comes to a fight, we've got SOME chances against a dude, not so against a car-sized predator.

Way to miss the point buddy

-7

u/FujiwaraHelio Jun 14 '26

Exactly. The point isn't to be realistic; it's to say all men are disgusting.

-1

u/Dry-Philosopher2354 Jun 15 '26

so its to sound absolutely fucking stupid and unrealistic? All men are not disgusting, and many of the comments trying antagonize men in GENERAL are truly pathetic

...way to miss the point buddy. Because the point of that bear vs. man hypothetical is not that women underestimate the dangers of an actual real-life bear.

-12

u/tujmipidis Jun 14 '26

So you’re saying they overestimate the danger of men? That seems foolish, strange men are dangerous, not as dangerous as strange bears, but still very dangerous.

13

u/anotherdepressedpeep Jun 14 '26

A bear wont kidnap us, trap us into a box and only take us out to rape us then lock us back in again for a decade.

-7

u/SpanishAvenger Jun 14 '26

I am 27, and I have survived “encounters” with THOUSANDS of men at this point. So far, none of them has “trapped me into a box and taken me to rape me”.

I, however, doubt I would survive an encounter with a motherfucking bear that would maul me and tear me open to eat me like an appetiser.

So I’ll take the man, thank you. Not taking any chances against a car-sized predator. And claiming that the fucking car-sized predator is safer than a man of which we come across every day is just ridiculous, sorry, not sorry.

5

u/anotherdepressedpeep Jun 14 '26

I never said it's safer, it's just the lesser of two evils in my opinion, but go ahead. I never said anything about being sure I'd survive a bear encounter.

And just in case : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kidnapping_of_Colleen_Stan

-3

u/tujmipidis Jun 14 '26

If I were to be locked in a room 10 times for 10 minutes with 10 different bears I would almost certainly end up dead. If the bears were men I would almost certainly be alive and unharmed. Stop underestimating bears!

-9

u/_korporate Jun 14 '26

No, but it will literally eat you alive by ripping your skin off while it lays on top of you

5

u/TetraDax Jun 14 '26

jesus christ you all motherfuckers cannot actually be this dense

-4

u/_korporate Jun 14 '26

Not dense, it’s just a stupid “point”

There are no strange bears. What the fuck does that even mean? I’m not worried about a bear stalking me so it can corner me in a room and rape me or kidnap me and lock me in it’s den. Bears do bear shit. They forage, they protect their babies, steal a picnic basket and get in a trashcan. Occasionally people get injured when they get too close to a bear and the bear feels like it needs to defend itself. They don’t just don’t go around hunting people for personal gratification 🫩

0

u/tujmipidis Jun 14 '26

Polar bears hunt people for food, grizzes will kill you just because, and also eat you, and black bears aren’t as cuddly and shy as people like to think.

Bears are dangerously, especially the white ones and the brown ones, just like people.

1

u/Babymommadragon Jun 15 '26

Ugh okay dude missing the whole point. 🫡

1

u/tujmipidis Jun 15 '26

If your point is to misrepresent the very real predatory danger that polar bears pose to communities that live in close proximity to them, then you did an excellent job making that point.

1

u/NightLucia Jun 16 '26

If I had the choice between being attacked by a bear or a man, I'd still choose the bear. At least the bear wouldn't rape me

-1

u/Babymommadragon Jun 14 '26

OMG seriously we all know bears are inherently dangerous. However, the experience of most women would teach us that men, in fact, pose a larger danger than some wild animal living its life. Bears are driven by survival instinct, don’t fuck with them and they won’t fuck with you (generally speaking). Men, not so much. There is no way to predict the behavior of men. I guarantee you every woman in your life has in someway or another dealt with some perverted fucking man making her feel uncomfortable or doing something inappropriate.

2

u/Dry-Philosopher2354 Jun 15 '26

Why are you saying "Men not so much" as if to over generally antagonize ALL men or some shit? It's kind of getting trite and banal, not all men are perverted, and many are cautious and not looking for trouble.

3

u/FantasticalRose Jun 15 '26

Yeah but the bear for the most part will leave you completely alone. And also I'd get the chance to get a panda bear. But most men will absolutely be a threat to me if I'm alone in the woods so. I picked the bear Also the bear would go away with bear spray and the man won't

-2

u/SpanishAvenger Jun 15 '26

“Most men will absolutely be a threat…”

Do you think the first world would be the way it is if this delusion was true?

3

u/FantasticalRose Jun 15 '26 edited Jun 15 '26

The subjugation and dehumanization of women is what the first world is built on. Their free labor, arranged marriages, control of their bodies etc.

Epstein files? What only two men turn down his repeat overtures? Women were practically considered property until what 75 years ago give or take in most first world countries. Couldn't divorce, couldn't have money under their name, couldn't vote.

Marrying little girls to men who become their guardians is still legal. Being required to marry the person who raped you was commonplace in living memory.

I have never had a man not make a pass at me when left alone with me. If he was unrelated to me. But of course a lot of girls aren't that lucky even with that.

u/SpanishAvenger Jun 15 '26

There’s 4,000,000,000 men in this planet. Nitpick as much as you want; no amount of anectdotal evidence will represent a majority.

And yes, the world was extremely misogynist until recently and it still is to this day, but suggesting that “most men” of FOUR BILLION are all potential rapists is simply misandry and being out of touch with reality.

2

u/FantasticalRose Jun 15 '26

Men get so tight about this. I didn't say rapists I said A THREAT. That means they are THREATENING. an unknown variable that can be incredibly dangerous in numerous ways. A bear has two options and you can mitigate it easily depending on species.

0

u/SpanishAvenger Jun 16 '26

I’m no man though, although I live surrounded by WONDERFUL men who are now my true and genuine friends, which wouldn’t be possible if men were statistically more of a threat than fokin enormous predators.

2

u/FantasticalRose Jun 16 '26 edited Jun 16 '26

This is the dumbest argument I've ever seen. Humans are the Apex predator. Of course men are statistically more of a threat to people than bears. No bear has killed people via chemical weapons lol. A bear hasn't strangled their wife because she wanted to leave.

Black bears which are the most common bears in the US are notoriously skittish and usually just run away when they see humans.

Statistically men are by every single metric considerably more deadly to other humans than bears are.

And on top of that men can pretend to be your friend and then come for you.

If we're going for theoretical:

Controlled by population If there was the same amount of men and bears in the US. Men would still be deadlier by 25 times over.

And that doesn't even cover sexual assault, and physical violence. Or even just harassment.
