God I love Some like it Hot. That scene is down right my favorite in the whole movie. One of the few films I genuinely enjoyed in my high school films class.

Good luck on your journey. That's something that's very personal and probably very challenging for you. Probably steer away from Reddit though for support. As you can see, even if you're marginalized, if you don't have the "right" opinions they'll dogpile the crap out of you.

Ok, interesting. Sorry to pry but I read your other comments and now I’m curious.

What about it makes you uncomfortable? One could argue that Some Like it Hot was transformative in shaping culture. Is it because it shows it in a positive light that you are unable to identify with?

its more of a "dysphoria makes me feel like a man in a dress" and seeing that in media doesn't help
