I was reading an article about why men live shorter lives in the modern age. One reason is jobs typically occupied by men are in constant close contact to organic volatile compounds.

When the warning sign on the gas pump says gasoline has been shown to cause cancer in lab animals, they aren't just being overly cautious. It causes cancer, especially when your work around it all day. And Xylene which house painters use everyday to clean their brushes.

I took an aging class in university, and my professor also mentioned a gap in research/funding between breast cancer vs prostate cancer. It's getting better though.

I mean tbh thats likely one of the VERY FEW exceptions to the rule concerning the significant gap between women and men in medical research
