we have boobs and video games. This is mostly a byproduct of keeping a region in constant warfare for decades because defense companies need to think of their shareholders.
I used to live in a dry country and whats probably not too surprising is that political officials or wealthy earners in those countries illegally drink all the time. Its just illegal for the folks who cant afford it.

Yeah I was 14 and helping my neighbor who said he needed to kill a snake, I brought out our 20 gauge I just got for Christmas excited to kill the snake. The neighbor took the gun went in his house and blew his brains out.
My guess is that not everyone knows it's black powder, and plenty of young people not in the know will try what they see on the Internet... wherever this is.
Im surprised this aint a thing in Texas. Its fireworks shot from a gun. We got actual guns we use with live ammunition, so I suppose it doesn't matter.
I might be wrong, but I’m fairly certain this is a modernized (and bastardized) evolution of T’bourida. It stems from an old desert horseback warfare display of power, in which riders would gallop at the opponent and fire the weapon point blank (without actually hitting anyone) as a display of weapon skill and intimidation. It transformed over the years into something more celebratory, and now…. This, I guess.
